James will lightly scratch Remus’ back when he’s asleep just to ensure he’s having good dreams (Remus also moans a little and that’s totally not the main reason James does it)

They’re polar opposites. Literally. Moon/sun. Sunburnt/tanned. Night owl/morning bird. But they work so well together

Remus hates PDA but James loves it. They compromise by holding hands under the table, only cheek kisses in public, sitting and standing as close as possible. (But when they’re drunk the pda is UNBEARABLE. Remus sitting in James’ lap and James not being able to keep his hands off. Sirius and Peter are comically gagging behind them)

Remus visibly lights up when James enters the room.

James texts like this “GOOD MORNING MY LOVELY TALL MAN SO HANDSOME AND SMART❤️😘😍💗💗🥵🥵” And Remus texts like this “Good morning, James”

After a very important talk from James (I need you to add some more personality to your texts Re. I can’t tell if you’re mad or just being you!) Remus’ texts turned into “Good morning, James :)” and he’d use ;) when he’s feeling spicy. He also uses the 👍

I hc that wolfstar dated first. It took a long while for james and Remus to even acknowledge their feelings for each other. So james prefers to call him re instead of moony cus that was Sirius’ thing.

James has morning wood. Every. Single. Morning. Remus was pretty happy about the fact when he found out. James was a little embarrassed but he just pretended to be confident and was like “oh ya this doesn’t happen to you every morning? huh weird. well uh let me go take care of it” and Remus was like “no stay”

THEY SWITCH.

They spent many years on and off. It was platonic bordering romantic but also hooking up quite frequently but saying it’s ok to see other people but getting jealous when someone touches the other and giving each other very very personal gifts

Remus wore a moon pendant and James wore a sun pendant. They traded the pendants when they were “just friends” so they could be with each other all the time.

Remus slips notes into James’ pockets everyday and sometimes they’re sweet like “love you and miss you” other times they’re spicy like *insert smut here* (Remus is surprisingly good at drawing erotica)

Remus was so incredibly quiet and reserved when they met. James just decided “he’s the one” and immediately befriended him despite Peter saying “he has scars” or Sirius saying “he’s a swot”.

James won’t stop wearing werewolf shirts.

They kinda switch personalities during sex. Remus starts talking nonstop and James is suddenly at a loss for words.

They were an unexpected couple. Everyone thought it was gonna be Remus and Sirius or James and Lily. But in the end how could it not be Remus and James? They were only ever looking for each other in a crowded room.

I wanted to finally share this Sirius and Remus drawing I never got around to post.

It took me a while to finish, and at first I felt like I could do it better so I put it aside and thought I’d redo it later. But as time passed, I started to like it more and more. Maybe it was the time I spent on it, or maybe I just got used to seeing it.

What I mean to say is: even if you feel stuck with where you are right now, or think “this isn’t good enough”, take a moment to recognize it for what it is: growth. Later on, you will realize how much you value those little steps your past self took, and see that it’s thanks to them that you are where you are now 🌱
