BTW, The owl was made by my youth. I have remember the feel and touch from whittling this well. And my grand mother had kept it. I love this. They are one of my orgins.

"ふくろう:FUKUROU" means a owl in Japanese.  This word includes other mean also.  It is "not trouble."  A owl is so nice for just good-life well.

It’s a huge saw in a timber mill.

Though I have used a narrow one and just a little knives, collectly my woods need the huge. I think sometime so.

When I met the saw, I heard a story from woodman in a good humor. Old time, many people hoped some good woods. They bought it, then broke the round trunk in two. If the grain of cross-section is beautiful, they were soooo surprised. It could be expensive. I felt that it’s a gold rush in old Japan.

By the way, I had used two knives for my both hands. If left hand is tired, I can switch. Efficient right? :D

em. has used the woods from Shinshu(Nagano, Japan) for works.

They are almost good Yamazakura. It is not just cherry blossom, and has fitted to carve something.

This photo is a Japanese timber mill. The smell is so nice, but it has been so cold in the winter.  (This mountain is not now one. Perhaps it will have so deep snow like you imagine.)

This pierce is bo-be(bold-bent).

The pierce is ext-th-ro. It means extended-thin-rounded.

When we choice something, the feeling is essential. Well… “It’s a little bookish for enjoy” “You should be formal to greet” or so.

I created the objects with it. The name depends on these forms and shapes.

If a few items have been taken, I will created new one.
