I'm not good at straight lines (prompted by looking at how badly I failed a line that I tried so very hard to make straight on something I just drew on my personal.) I use the grid tool and snap to grid to keep my panels straight. Idk why I leave that little border of blank space in most of my pages? It's just how I started doing it and now I'm used to it. I do treat every page as its own unique painting rather than trying to stay consistent, and I think the little unifying color in the background ties things together a bit better.

I'm not very experienced with layouts, so I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm now 140+ pages in and I still don't feel like I know what I'm doing. I feel like my layouts are very repetitive, but I think because of how different every page looks, it works? It makes it feel like the same comic. I hope so at least.

I'm not very good at consistency. I can't draw the same thing the exact same way twice. (I was fooling myself when I wanted to be an animator as a kid.) So I just try to make each page look good as its own thing and hope that's enough? When people give me nice comments they always mention the colors so hopefully I'm doing something right. It just... Looks the way it does because that's the only way I can draw it, haha. It's so filled with my own stylistic quirks. When I'm drawing I feel like I'm carving away at something until I've shaped something and it just comes out how it comes out.
