Thranduil Oropherion

Random notes:

- [ ] Reason Oropher is often found outside walking through the winter forest alone is because his wife found solace in the season, she loved it dearly from the pure white snow, to the beauty it gave off often commenting how it reminded her of Oropher. From silver hair to his cold eyes. By definition he was winter. She often dragged him along to admire it all, occasionally being childish. After her death during the fall his attitude had changed for the worse. He closed him off, though not from his own son whom he had sworn to protect. Now days he roams the winter forest, alone, reminiscing with every fall of every snowflake. Despite his hatred of the cold will linger there for long periods of time hoping that one day he would see her.

- [ ] More often than not would take a seat beneath an old willow tree that he had found in his early years of Greenwood, one similar to one that his wife planted long ago, and watch the snow fall until eventually he would slip away into a light slumber. Whenever his escort would find him would often panic and hurry to wake him.

- [ ] Suffering the loss of his beloved wife he left his home land along with his son and people. He could no longer look upon those lands without recalling the tragic moment of her passing, no fond memories.

- [ ] Oropher does and doesn’t rely heavily on the council, some being of lords he had brought with him into Greenwood, but many being form the realm itself. He cares deeply for their opinion of him, the council and his people. Part of the reason Oropher had fallen in battle, not only due to his own arrogance, but because the influence of his council.

- [ ] When Oropher first realized he had fallen for the high king he was petrified beyond words. Yet he had a feeling with how the high king presented himself before him that he was not alone.
