Eli Draws stuff

TBH, I used this website a lot more when I was connecting with Artists, and I think it was good back then. But as a general social media site, I think this website sucks majorly. I think a lot of us older millenials still just yern for actual blogs and forums, and the changes this website has made to be a bit of both as well as more like twitter is a complete failure imo. That and the userbase has shriveled massively here. I mean I'm kinda just talking into the wind, but being here is like deciding to just live the rest of your life in a ghost town. I like all the people who I follow but anyone who still posts here basicaly by default dominates my feed (which isnt the worst but social media thrives on variety, and I think I only have 2 people who are huge users now!) Twitter will die, people may move to Bluesky, but I think I really gotta just focus on that and Discord. Discord aint perfect, but I rather have a chatroom then tumblr anymore. Maybe I just got to make a new account and re-tune it to just be about art references. Who knows! Anyways, if you want to stay connected and would like to be in my stupid gamer/art/discussion/movie night discord, let me know. Otherwise I really can't see a good reason to post here anymore when I dont think there is even really an audience nowadays.

Its kinda weird to watch social media and various sites crumble because although no one really needs it in some ways, I have made some good connections through I dont want to lose, and I always seem to lose people once they "tune out" or quit sites.

I really haven't been active here for the last few years as it just isnt my current primary social media but I'm still alive!! I post mostly on bluesky and twitter still. Anyhow I just had a major change in my life and I'm in a new appt and putting my life back together and so far its going good. Just wanted to let my friends here know that you can always reach out to me and talk!! It feels weird when everyone drifts to different ponds of the internet and you lose connection but its nice when things sync back up every few years.
