Now that the season is over I can take the moment to give thanks to all the managers, coaches, and players for putting up with me and giving me an opportunity to participate in a great environment of soccer. I remember always driving to practice thinking how far I've come and knowing how far I wanted to go. Thanks to my coaches I was able to really push myself and never give up. I will never forget my life as a 20 year old because I started off my birthday away from friends and family to tryout for Flash. I didn't know what to expect, but I knew I had one shot to show the Flash coaches I could play soccer. A few weeks after training with Flash I was invited to take part in a World Cup powerade commercial with Hercules Gomez. Hopefully just the first of many more. It was an amazing experience to work with a #usmnt player who not only coached, but played along side of Paul Arriola. Paul Arriola Played with the youngers in the Arsenal Academy and it was amazing to watch him play. Paul Arriola would travel from SD to Ontario just to play. Just like I'd travel from Palm Springs to Ontario, but unlike Paul he's on the #usmnt u20. An Arsenal Academy that had the best quality players in all Southern California. Now best known professional players such as Raul Mendiola, Denis Flores, and Paul Arriola from my age group. So many more quality players from mt.sac , division 1 college's, and even mexico clubs coming from such a great club. #arsenalacademy. It was much different this year though because I was no longer playing with teenagers my age. I was playing with stronger, faster, and much older players to win a position. Most of my teammates have been professional ballers all around the world. I have several connections on my own from previous coaches, but nothing concrete. I'd love to play next season and show all the fans the quality @sdflashsoccer
