BIOGRAPHY:

"I would certainly hope so, I've only been talking about today for years," she teased with a smile. "We will dance soon, he's just finishing up some things with his father," she explained. "I figured I would do some socializing for a bit," she explained. "And what about you? Have you been enjoying yourself?"

Evan had been... enduring the evening, finding the influx of genuine continually happiness rather draining on his own continual smile. Still, he was not about to be remiss in any of his duties and ensured all present were met, spoken to and found him charming as the evening wore on.

By the time the evening affair was well underway, Evan found a moment to return to his own flesh and blood and offered her the same grin, "Elodie," he said lightly, "My dear sister, I do believe I've been remiss thus far," he extended his arm, "What kind of big brother would I be if I didn't offer my darling sibling a whirl around the floor? Up for it?"

Hearing her brother she had to look up at him, even in her heels. There was that smile and she met it with her own. "As long as you aren't going to try to ditch me by making me dance with Rabastan in a horrible attempt to set us up." She took his arm though, following him to the dancefloor.

Narcissa didn't think that she had ever felt peace until this moment. She had watched as the ink dried on the marriage certificate and she had known that for better or worse, she and Lucius were married. Together they could weather whatever was thrown towards them. Suddenly she didn't care so much about what her mother had been fussing about as they got ready, she didn't care about who was at the wedding.

All she cared about was that Lucius was her husband. She could be happy. There was a slight twinge when she thought of the people that were no longer a part of her life that she had always thought would be standing by her side but none of it mattered. She was married.

A glass of champagne in her lips, she surveyed the dance floor and locked eyes with Lucius across the room. She lifted her glass in acknowledgement before someone stepped into her line of vision.

"Thank you so much for coming! I'm so glad that you could share this day with us."

Grabbing a flute of champagne she came over to see the bride. She was sure that those words had come out of her mouth more than 50 times now. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," she smiled brightly. "Shouldn't you be dancing with your husband? Why are you over here all alone?"

"I'm not afraid of the groom." Regulus replied softly, slowly pulling himself out of her embrace so he could take another look at her. "You look absolutely incredible, honestly. More so than usual, which I didn't think was even possible." His hand found hers and he kept her close as the two of them began to head into the reception. He was nervous, he wanted to be here, for Elodie but also for Narcissa. But what if they kicked him out? He was here with someone that had been invited, but he couldn't help but to worry that his presence would upset Narcissa, or maybe Bellatrix would cause a scene. Regulus didn't want to think about it too much, though. Not with such a beautiful woman on his arm.

"Was the ceremony long? Would you like to get some hors d'oeuvres and refreshments first? Or should we dance?"

“I don’t quite think he’s intimidating but it is 5 percent his day so we’ll let him have it.” Any other day and she would have called him boring. He was about as interesting as plain cheesecake. Good but could be better. A smile stayed painted on her face as they moved apart and his had found hers. “I was a little worried about the color not being in theme but the pale greens washed me out. At least I showed up in color unlike some others.”

Regulus was nervous, not at all knowing what he should expect from attending Narcissa's wedding reception. He remembered when they got engaged, he always imagined the ceremony and how beautiful his cousin would look in her wedding gown. He didn't even get to attend, he hadn't even seen her dress yet. Hopefully she wouldn't be mad that he came, he just wanted to support her. And he wanted to see Elodie, of course.

Honestly, he was slightly taken aback when Elodie had asked him as her plus one. It made sense, they had been talking for a few weeks now and it seemed as though things were going well between them. However Regulus was aware of his reputation, he was surprised she wanted to be seen with him. He certainly wasn't complaining, though, and when he watched her approaching him, it felt as though all the air has left his lungs. She looked absolutely stunning.

"Wow," He breathed, eyes moving from her face down to her dress and then to her accessories before back to her face, "I must be the luckiest man here. Thank you for the invite."

The only thing missing was her date. Once the reception started she went looking for the man. It was a little strange to find that he wasn't like her father pictured. He was so much better, and honestly being seen with him didn't bother her in the slightest. It wasn't like he was a muggleborn after all. Finally laying her eyes on him she rushed over, smiling as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Don't let the groom hear that," she giggled. "I'm so glad you showed up, Regulus. And you look amazing!"
