This is such a random question lol but in Tea Time sometimes youāll describe the character as wearing cloaks/robes how do you imagine them? i normally prefer to picture the characters more modern which is just my preference so i was wondering how you imagine it to see if i can see your vision! i love fashion and i love your characters so id love to know. Amazing new chapter you did so well!! x
In my mind itās based on the context and the specific character! If theyāre out and about in the wizarding world, and especially if theyāre doing anything Ministry related, typically itās robes and/or cloaks (depending on the season)ā unless itās Lily, who I think probably nearly exclusively wears muggle clothes. If the characters are just chilling at home, usually jeans/joggers/t-shirts/jumpers/etc. I donāt even know if thatās book accurate, but itās the way my brain decided it works šš

I just wanted to write in and say thank you so, so much for your update to SFTOH. You have no idea how much it meant to me to see it. I completely understand how you feel about the whole JKR of it all, but what you created with this universe is so beyond her original work, it would be a shame to let that evil woman disrupt your beautifully queer story. I first read the series during the early pandemic, and the joy you brought me during an otherwise dark time is something Iāll never forget. Since then, Iāve reread the series a couple times. Itās one of those stories that continues giving. All that said, just know you and your work continues to be a light in many peoples lives. I hope you end up finishing the story! (But no pressure, of course!)

i had just read your āday in julyā one shot. omg. that was beautiful i have read all your deleted scenes and such and this was one is by far my favourite. Caden rowle has a very special place in my heart which i canāt even put into words and i think heāll stick with me for a long, long time. your writing is a masterpiece (iām not sure if you wrote this after you stopped Tea Time or during it) but nevertheless all the little easter eggs were adorable. I was pleased to hear more about Cadenās home life as it played such a role into the last part of SFTOH and Harry asking Caden if he will be safe BROKE ME. I know youāve used Harry and Caden as a mirror before and a way to show history repeating itself so i hope there will be no more mirrors and all deatheater children get the happiness and fulfilling life they deserve and iām so happy we got to see that for Caden - Harry was so right saying how far he had come and how far we know Caden will go

Yeah ff.net is definitely not as user friendly as it seemed back in the day šš Iām eventually going to move (mostly) everything over to ao3 but just havenāt had a chance yet! Iāll move Inside the Ward first thing when I sit down to do it, though!

honestly Lily is also my favourite! I like how she knows what she wants and is so independent. hers and Caden's relationship is my favourite from Tea Time, half the time when I reread it I honestly search for Lily or Lulu and just reread her portions.
I honestly don't understand the hate for her, she's the best and I love reading about her and Caden. And the twins are so amazingly funny! I would've loved to see them getting back their magic and being in Hogwarts ā„ļø

Thank you so much! Looking back half a decade later, I can see why LLP annoyed people, BUT that was really always the point. She wasnāt meant to be likable at the start (which I personally feel was obvious within the narrative re: al and rose and MANY others regularly calling her out). To me, the best thing about her character was the fact that she got to start out bratty and wild and ridiculous (like many teens are lmao), and gradually evolve into something deeper. I still stand my characterization choices and I would do it all the same today if I rewrote the whole thing š¤·š»āāļø I feel (maybe somewhat naively?) that if some of the PYCIR/early STFTOH readers who were so pissed about her had stuck through to the end*, they wouldāve come around to her character progression. But different strokes for different folks I suppose! Iām glad you enjoyed it š„¹š©·

Interesting question! Probablyā especially as time goes on and she gets stabler/her son gets older. Itās bound to come up at some point, but I like to think that, when it finally does, sheās in a headspace to manage it (as well as something like that could be managed, anyway)
