Eleanor was merely trying to do her job (something she usually avoided) when she looked up with a soft gasp at her latest customer. She’d been trying to avoid Grayson for the last week, even going to the lengths where she’d ducked around the corner to not meet him at the bakery. It wasn’t necessarily him, but rather the fact that he made her feel something that she was running from. But he was here now and she didn’t have an escape. Forcing a smile to her face, she approached hoping the exchange would be brief. “What would you like,” She asked the question while offering a silent prayer that he’d move on and not push her to talk.
