I knew I wanted to do something with wicked texting (I mean naturally) but the exact scenario was a suggestion from my dear wife. Just winding your boy up before a game nbd.

I had permission to be as scandalous as I wanted with my chibis so I delighted in painting Ilya butt ass naked. Not since hottub Witcher have I had a chance to be this ridiculous ahaha

Chrono Trigger won this particular art poll effortlessly which was delightful to watch on my side. I have so many fond memories of playing this game in my long ago teen years, listening to the alt station on the radio and hunting Nus in the woods for magic XP.

I had so much fun with this pose. I really like the shapes the model made and the weapon made for a fun chance to draw a type of character I don't usually draw.

May Bird Whisperer: Vermillion Flycatcher

Bird of the month this month was both beautifully round and vibrantly colored. I loved the shape of this little guy on the branch so much that I started really thinking about the shape of the background and how to use that to make him pop more.

I got assigned the South Georgia pintail for my piece and got really excited because you know me and my love of painting birds.

Another little guy painted to cheer myself up while I recover: ankylosaurus, my favorite dinosaur.

I have a deeply inaccurate form of this guy that lives in my head from childhood but I referenced some more recent art to try and bring my mental picture more up to date.
