I would like to clarify that this was the original purpose of me sketching Shoemon and that both fixing the line art and coloring were extra I did for fun. This is why I have thirty projects all going on a one time and I apologize for nothing.

Star with a fairly simple Digimon to get the basics of how you want to do shaping and be prepared to have to redo whole sections because while it will take time it is better for you to like the end result than for it to be done. Write everything you do down so you know what you did and can figure out how to either replicate or change it if you want. Also crochet when working in the round does shift the starting point of each row as you are going in a spiral, if something needs symmetry I find it best to shift everything forward one stitch on every fifth row so that it stay aligned. If you wish for more direct tips on patterning there is a playlist on the YouTuber ComplicatedKnots’ channel called “Crochet Design Masterclass” that I found very helpful when I was beginning. Also crochet is like anything a skill that improves with time and practice so don’t worry if everything is perfect, just have fun making something you like.
