You have to keep choosing recovery, over and over and over again. You have to make that choice 5-6 times each day. You have to make that choice even when you really don’t want to. It’s not a single choice, and it’s not easy.

It’s not that I hate being alone or being lonely. I just hate knowing that you said as long as you are around that I would never have to worry about feeling isolated within the walls of my life. Because now that you are finally home and there are no miles put between us I have never felt more trapped inside of my own head.
