Here are some of the cannon redemption rehab ships. Chaggie, Guitar spear, Staticmoth, and some weird thing with Velvette and Abel I liked. Before anyone gets upset, I know Velvette is canonically a lesbian, but in context of my AU I found this cute, but feel free to disagree if you want, you don’t have to ship it!

I already forgot to post this on Twitter, but I forgot to post it here.
INT. REHAB CENTER LOBBY – AFTERNOON
The front door SLAMS open. Valentino barrels through, feathers ruffled, jacket askew, panting like he just outran a demon horde. He spins, throws his back against the door, and clutches the handle with both hands.
VAL
(half whisper, panicked)
If anybody asks, I’m not here. I’m dead. D-E-A—
He freezes mid-word. Eyes lock onto the two angels behind the reception counter. Adam stands there, papers in hand, looking up in disbelief. Lute, seated beside him, doesn’t move—just blinks once, slowly, assessing.
VAL
(stunned)
Holy hell—no way. No. Way.
He points dramatically, first at Lute, then at Adam, then back at Lute again.
VAL
You’ve gotta be kidding me. Greed’s Angel, in the flesh. Mammon’s divine bitch herself. You working here?
Lute’s expression doesn’t change. If anything, it goes colder.
ADAM
(flatly)
Who the fuck are you?
VAL
(recovering, grinning)
Valentino. Tempter, pimp, and entrepreneur in my own right. A pleasure to meet you, hombre.
Adam blinks, unimpressed.
ADAM
And you know Lute… how?
VAL
(half laughing)
Know her? Please. Everyone in the Lust Ring knows her. She’s on half the billboards from here to Gluttony. Perfume line’s still booming. Posters, toys, slot machines—hell, there’s a damn animatronic that sings her jingle.
He leans forward, elbows on the counter, grin sharp.
VAL
Half of Hell’s jerkin’ it to your face, sweetheart. You’re practically a household name.
Lute doesn’t move. Her jaw flexes once.
LUTE
Not. My. Doing.
VAL
Oh, I believe you, sugar. But Mammon’s still cashing those checks. Heard he’s been screaming your name in board meetings like a jilted lover. Poor bastard can’t sell a bottle of cologne without crying now.
Adam’s chair scrapes back hard. He takes one step forward, voice low.
ADAM
Watch it.
VAL
(grinning, hands up)
Easy, jefe. I’m just saying—it’s surreal. Greed’s golden girl running a rehab for sinners. Irony’s got taste.
Lute stands, deliberate and calm, walking toward him. She stops just close enough for Val to feel the heat coming off her glare.
LUTE
If you ever call me that again, I’ll make sure you never pronounce another name in your life.
VAL
(tilting his head)
Touchy.
LUTE
Try me.
A long beat. Val studies her—amusement mixing with faint caution—then raises his palms.
VAL
Alright, alright. No nicknames. Cross my heart. But doll, you can’t expect people to forget overnight. You were top shelf in Hell’s market. That doesn’t vanish because you quit. You’re still a… brand.
Lute’s tone is steady, lethal.
LUTE
You here for a reason, or just trying to find new ways to get killed?
VAL
(grinning)
Bit of both, actually.
She turns sharply, walking away toward the stairwell.
LUTE
Then pick one and make it quick.
The door to the hall shuts behind her.
Silence. Adam’s jaw works, every tendon in his neck tense. Val leans against the counter now, recovering his breath, pretending casual.
VAL
(to Adam, under his breath)
You sure know how to pick your coworkers. Gorgeous, terrifying—perfect for business, though.
Adam glares.
VAL
(whistles)
She’s got that little power-top energy, huh? Makes a guy wanna sin twice.
ADAM
(gritted teeth)
You’re lucky she walked away.
VAL
(grinning wider)
Oh, I know.
Lute: Greed's Angel
Part of my AU is that Lute fell 12 years ago. Seeking protection from the denizens of hell out for her blood, she made a deal with the only soul who was willing to protect her...
INT. GREED RING – MAMMON’S PRIVATE BOX ABOVE THE STAGE – NIGHT
The lights below are a blur of gold and smoke. Lute’s standing by the railing, wings half-spread and feathers dimmed with ash. She’s only been in Hell for two days. Her sword’s stained red. The crowd beneath screams for Mammon, who hasn’t come out yet.
Behind her, the door creaks.
MAMMON (smooth, friendly drawl) Didn’t think I’d see you down here, dolly. You glow like a halo in a closet.
Lute doesn’t turn around. Her voice is flat, sharp-edged from exhaustion.
LUTE You’re the one they call the Greedy One, right? Fitting.
MAMMON (chuckling) Oh, that’s me. King of the Market. Lord of the Take. But tonight—eh, I’m just a guy extending a hand.
He strolls past her, dressed sharp—green jester costume with gold trim, hat tilted just enough to look casual. He’s smiling, but his eyes are predatory.
LUTE You think I’m stupid enough to shake it?
MAMMON No, sweetheart. I think you’re smart enough to know you’ve got two options: fight every miserable bastard down here until they tear those pretty feathers off… or let someone who knows the rules help you survive them.
She narrows her eyes. He keeps going, quiet, conversational.
MAMMON You used to be one of Heaven’s top killers, right? An exorcist. That makes you a walking bounty. Every sinner who wants bragging rights is gonna take a swing. Hell—half of ‘em already are.
Lute glances at the streets outside—fires, chaos, sinners fighting. He’s not wrong.
LUTE So what, you want to “protect” me? Why?
MAMMON Because protection’s an investment. And you, dollface, are worth a fortune. I’m not talkin’ flesh—I’m talkin’ fame. You’re fresh stock. You got that tragic look—fallen but still holy. You’re the first angel in history to live in my city. Everyone’ll wanna see what you do next.
He steps closer, voice dropping.
MAMMON (CONT’D) So let’s make a deal. You work for me. Perform. I give you a stage, a roof, and the kind of guards that make Wrath demons cry. No one touches you. Not a soul.
Lute studies him, distrust in her eyes, but there’s a flicker of something else—fear, pragmatism.
LUTE What kind of performance?
MAMMON (smiles) Comedy. Tricks. You ever see a jester work a crowd? They laugh, they love you, they forget you ever had wings. Easy coin. Nothing indecent, not unless you choose.
LUTE And if I say no?
MAMMON Then you walk out that door, and within a day they’ll have your feathers pinned in a casino somewhere. I’ll probably end up buying them back at auction. Waste of potential, that.
He slides a paper across the table between them—a long, glittering contract written in shimmering gold ink.
MAMMON (CONT’D) This says I provide you protection, lodging, and the resources you need. You perform exclusively under my banner. In return, I get full marketing rights to your name and likeness. Standard clause.
LUTE (reading, skeptical) “Perpetuity.” That’s a long time.
MAMMON (grinning) Yeah, but I’m not like those Wrath idiots who tear up paper once they get bored. I keep my promises. You’ll be safe, sweetheart. You’ll be somebody.
He leans closer, resting his elbows on the table, voice softening.
MAMMON (CONT’D) Look, I get it. You fell. It hurts. The silence, the shame, all of it. But this? This is your restart button. Nobody up there wants you anymore, but I do.
She stares down at the parchment, her reflection shimmering in the gold ink.
LUTE And you swear this is about safety? Not control?
MAMMON (smiles warmly) What’s the difference, baby? Everyone down here belongs to someone. I’m just honest about it.
That lands. He doesn’t press. He gives her space, lets the silence thicken. Finally, she picks up the pen.
LUTE You try to pull anything, I’ll end you myself.
MAMMON (chuckling) Oh, I’m countin’ on it.
She signs. The paper glows gold, then burns away in her hands, leaving a faint mark around her wrist—shaped like a bracelet.
MAMMON (CONT’D) Welcome to the family, doll.
He extends his hand again. This time, she takes it—hesitant, resigned.
MAMMON (quiet, almost sincere) You made the right call. I’ll keep you safe.
He gives her hand one last squeeze, too long, too familiar.
MAMMON (smiling wider) Now, let’s make you famous.
The lights below rise. The stage is ready. The crowd chants his name—then hers.
Lute looks out over the chaos and knows—somewhere deep down—she’s just traded one kind of servitude for another.

Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

Kaida Takami
(Kaida is my indulgence for more irreverent, powerhouse, unfiltered female heroes. No femme fatal, no sexual marketing, no hourglass build, no sultry tone. If she thinks it’s true she will say it as is, if she finds someone stupid she will tell them, if she hates the media she will throw them for a loop, she swears like they are normal words, she insults more than she compliments, she takes hits in training to learn what she could take in a real fight, she spends every moment of her life at work or with family, she doesn’t make time for dating, if she ever did her expectations involve them being okay with her not setting days aside for couple activities. And if that doesn’t work for them, that’s their problem not hers. She doesn’t have trauma, her parents did and overcompensated her childhood, she grew up privileged and well aware of it. Kaida isn’t a flexible spy female, she is the human equivalent to a hot brick of iron.)
Kaida Takami is the eldest daughter of Keigo “Hawks” Takami, Japan’s former #1 hero and its most charming manipulator, and Fuyumi “Glacia” Todoroki, a retired pro hero who lost her ice powers saving her husband.
From birth, Kaida was a walking contradiction — the child of two opposites: fire and air, chaos and calm, showmanship and privacy.
She inherited Hellflame, the same quirk as her grandfather Endeavor, and it defined her life — a gift, a curse, and a responsibility all in one.
By the time she reached adulthood, she had become one of Japan’s most powerful heroes, and by her late 20s, she took the #1 spot — not because she wanted fame, but because she refused to let anyone weaker take it.
Her hero name, Enigma, started as a joke. She picked it to annoy reporters who expected something fiery or noble. The irony stuck — she became an enigma to everyone trying to label her: part prodigy, part delinquent, part savior, part menace.
⸻
Personality
Kaida is a blunt-force personality — not the kind that storms in without thinking, but the kind that storms in after thinking and decides she still doesn’t care.
She is:
• Pathologically honest – If you ask her opinion, she’ll tell you, even if it destroys your confidence.
• Emotionally disciplined but socially reckless – She can maintain focus during a life-or-death battle but will casually start a brawl with a reporter.
• Brutally pragmatic – Doesn’t waste time on ideals when there’s work to do.
• Unflinchingly loyal – Once you earn her trust, she’ll bleed for you.
• Sharp-humored and foul-mouthed – Uses sarcasm as a social armor, comedy as control.
• Physically fearless – Jumps off buildings mid-fight because she trusts her instincts more than gravity.
• Emotionally cautious – Doesn’t open up easily; affection from her is earned through endurance, not niceness.
Kaida doesn’t care if she’s liked.
She cares if she’s respected.
She thrives on purpose, not praise — and that purpose is protecting people, whether they like her methods or not.
⸻
Upbringing
Kaida grew up surrounded by greatness — and exhaustion.
Her father, Keigo, treated her like his favorite sparring partner and constant exasperation. He was affectionate but sarcastic, often teaching her through humor and trickery.
Her mother, Fuyumi, was the calm center of the family — gentle, wise, the only person who could defuse Kaida’s temper with a few words.
As a child, Kaida was blunt, impatient, and hilariously unimpressed by hero culture. At press events, she’d scowl, yawn, and ask for chicken nuggets while her dad smiled for cameras.
She didn’t care about fame — she cared about competence.
At age 9, something clicked. Watching Mirko fight inspired her to train relentlessly. She became obsessed with discipline, not attention — by her teens, she was terrifyingly focused. Her humor never went away, but her goal shifted: become undeniable.
⸻
The Hero
As Enigma, Kaida is a front-line combatant — a human explosion in motion.
She doesn’t fight pretty. She fights decisively.
She mixes her Hellflame quirk with physical strikes — a brawler who fights like she’s on fire inside and out.
She doesn’t just throw fire — she controls heat, air pressure, and visibility to dominate the field. Her flames don’t spread recklessly; they obey her like trained soldiers.
She’s infamous for taunting villains mid-battle:
“You done screaming or should I grab you a lozenge?”
She wins not by being the strongest, but by being impossible to predict — her intelligence is tactical, her instinct predatory.
The battlefield is where she’s clearest — where honesty, strength, and control all fuse into one.
⸻
Public Persona vs Private Self
To the public, she’s chaos incarnate — loud, wild, and unapologetic. She swears on live television, bites people in interviews (once), and openly mocks the Commission.
To her family and close teammates, though, she’s something else entirely:
• Quietly observant.
• Intensely protective.
• Capable of rare, devastating tenderness.
She’ll roast her dad relentlessly but go still if he looks tired.
She’ll tease her siblings mercilessly but panic if they get hurt.
Kaida’s humor is a survival mechanism — it lets her feel in control when life gets too heavy. The jokes never mean she isn’t paying attention; they mean she can’t afford not to.
⸻
Relationship with Her Family
With Keigo (“Hawks”) – Their relationship is hilarious and heartfelt.
They love each other but express it through banter. He calls her “Sparky”; she calls him “Old Man” or “Featherbrain.”
Despite the teasing, Kaida reveres him more than she admits. He’s her moral compass, even if she’d rather die than say it aloud.
With Fuyumi (“Glacia”) – Fuyumi is Kaida’s emotional anchor. Kaida goes silent around her, not out of fear, but peace. When she loses control, Fuyumi is the only one who can bring her back with a single look or word.
With Riku – The underpowered brother she’d commit arson for. Kaida never treats him as lesser. She considers him brilliant, often asking for his input even when she doesn’t need it.
With Yuki (“Frostwing”) – Her sunshine. Kaida melts around her. She’s the most protective big sister imaginable — the kind to threaten to “melt a kid’s face off” if they bully Yuki. She worships Yuki’s optimism but secretly fears it will be crushed by the world.
⸻
Relationship with Haruto “Ironstride” Miyamoto
Haruto is her opposite — disciplined, stoic, all control and precision.
At first, she assumes he hates her.
In reality, he’s trying not to combust from attraction and frustration.
Their dynamic is explosive:
• She teases, provokes, and pushes him to crack.
• He fights to maintain order.
• Together, they’re a perfect balance of chaos and restraint.
Eventually, Kaida learns he’s not angry — he’s in love. When that realization hits, it doesn’t make her flustered. It makes her grin. Because for once, the mystery isn’t hers — it’s his.
They become partners in every sense: tactical, emotional, and physical. Their bond is not sentimental but anchored. Each keeps the other alive — and sane — in a world that demands both strength and sacrifice.
⸻
Major Turning Point – Endeavor’s Death
When her grandfather Enji Todoroki dies, Kaida collapses inward.
She heroically takes his place as the nation’s figurehead, but emotionally, she disappears.
She adopts his colors, his tone, his demeanor — becoming a shadow of him rather than herself. The press calls it “Enigma’s Evolution.” Her family calls it grief.
It’s only after months of emotional distance and breakdown that she realizes Enji didn’t want her to be him — he wanted her to surpass him.
That realization is her rebirth.
She sheds his colors, reclaims her own, and returns to the world as Kaida again — still fierce, still flawed.
(Note, image is Ai, I don’t have time to draw right now. When I do I wanna do a Kaida sketch.)
Kaida is recruited, it’s a mess…
SCENE: Kaida’s Agency Common Room, Afternoon
The room is worn but functional. Hero gear piled by the door. Scorch marks on the floor. A cracked whiteboard reads “No collateral damage THIS WEEK??” with four lines crossed out underneath.
Kaida is lounging on the old leather couch. Orange hair spiked and unbothered. Leg swung over the armrest, phone in hand. She’s scrolling, eyes half-lidded.
She knows they’re coming.
She just doesn’t care.
Door opens.
Three HSC members file in.
✅ Wildlight—bright grin, diplomatic.
✅ Glassheart—professional, clipboard in hand.
✅ Ironstride—massive, stoic, silent.
They pause at the door. The smell of burned carpet hits them. Kaida doesn’t look up. She’s too busy playing some obnoxious punk song on her phone.
Wildlight (cheery but cautious): “Enigma Takami, right? Thanks for meeting us.”
Kaida doesn’t move. Song still blasting. It’s definitely Platypus (I Hate You) by Green Day.
Wildlight (awkward cough): “Uh. We’re from the HSC. We’d like to—”
Kaida finally sighs. Thumb pauses the music. She leans her head back over the armrest, upside down to look at them.
Kaida (deadpan): “Your being a fucking pain in my ass right now.”
Wildlight’s smile flickers. Glassheart clears her throat. Ironstride doesn’t blink.
Glassheart (trying for diplomacy): “We’d like to formally extend an invitation to join the Hero Strategy Council. Your tactical performance, despite…collateral concerns, has—”
Kaida (snorts): “Oh, just say you want the job done no matter who cries about property damage. You want results.”
Wildlight opens his mouth. Glassheart stops him with a look.
Glassheart: “We’re aware of your…direct approach. That’s why we’re here. We believe you’d be a strong fit.”
Kaida swings her leg off the armrest, finally sitting up. She eyes them like she’s bored already.
Kaida: “So lemme guess. You want me to play nice with your little club. Stop blowing up districts. Smile for cameras.”
Wildlight (quickly): “No no—well, maybe yes to the smiling, but no to the rest. We want you to keep doing what you do. But on our team. With support.”
Kaida (grinning): “Support? You mean someone to mop up the burn victims and tell the press I’m emotionally stunted?”
Wildlight hesitates. Glassheart doesn’t deny it. Kaida’s eyes narrow at them. She points lazily at Ironstride.
Kaida: “And you? You’re the muscle, huh? You just here to look intimidating?”
Ironstride doesn’t move. Doesn’t react. Just stares at her, unreadable.
Kaida (tilts her head, assessing): “…Huh. You look like you actually have a brain behind the tin can. You ever wrestle a chainsaw on meth? Because that’s what working with me is.”
Glassheart sighs. Wildlight is trying not to laugh.
Glassheart (firmly): “Enigma. We’re here because we want you. You’re effective. You’re unpredictable, and that’s exactly the tactical edge we need. We don’t want to change you. We want to use what you do best.”
Kaida narrows her eyes. Scratches at her spiked hair.
Kaida (slow, suspicious): “You want me on your team. Why? Really. Don’t give me the PR line.”
Glassheart glances at Ironstride. He steps forward.
Ironstride (voice calm, even): “Because you win. Because you don’t break under pressure. Because you do what’s necessary.”
Kaida studies him. Finally she leans back, smirking.
Kaida: “Fine. I’ll make you a deal. If your big, rugged powerhouse can pin me for five seconds, you’ve got yourself a new member.”
Wildlight looks horrified. Glassheart closes her eyes like she has a migraine coming.
Wildlight: “Wait. What?”
Kaida (pointing at Ironstride): “Him. Five seconds. That’s the deal. Or you can fuck off back to your shiny HQ.”
Ironstride stares at her. No reaction. No protest. Just the faintest tilt of his head.
Ironstride (deadpan): “Fine.”
Kaida’s grin widens. She cracks her knuckles.
Kaida (viciously delighted): “Excellent. Let’s dance.”
———————————
SCENE: Agency Training Room
The walls are scorched. Floor mats pitted with burns and gouges. Weight racks shoved haphazardly aside. There’s a battered old speaker system in the corner, duct-taped to hell.
Kaida struts in first, glancing back at the HSC trio following her. She moves straight to the speaker. Smacks it with the heel of her hand. It shrieks with static. She doesn’t even look at them as she fiddles with her phone.
Wildlight (whispering to Glassheart): “She’s not actually going to—”
Music blares. Makeout Party, Greenday:
🎶 “Hey, you got yourself a pretty little mouth…” 🎶
Kaida turns slowly, eyes locked on Ironstride. She doesn’t smile. She grins. Wide. Sharp. Predatory.
Kaida (loud over the music): “What? Need mood music. Gotta make it fun, right?”
Wildlight actually sputters.
Glassheart pinches the bridge of her nose, muttering: “We’re in so much trouble.”
Ironstride just stands there. Watching. Expression unreadable. Arms loose at his sides. His eyes narrow only slightly at the lyrics.
🎶 “Do you wanna spin the bottle, play a game of chicken? Well it’s a tongue twister till your lips are bleeding…” 🎶
Kaida (mock-innocent): “Too much? I can put on Platypus if you want. Really set the mood.”
Ironstride doesn’t answer. He steps forward onto the mat. Voice low. Calm.
Ironstride: “Five seconds. That’s what you said.”
Kaida’s grin widens even further. She stretches her shoulders back. Flames ripple across her arms like she’s warming up.
Kaida: “That’s right. Five seconds on my terms. You get me on the ground and keep me there, you win. If not? Go home empty-handed dickheads.”
She takes a stance that’s half street brawler, half trained. Loose. Ready to shift. Eyes glittering with challenge.
Kaida (over the music): “Ready when you are, muscles.”
Ironstride studies her. Just for a second. Quiet. Calculating. He doesn’t even blink at the lyrics screaming “kiss me there, oh kiss me there.”
But his jaw flexes once. He takes one more step forward. Voice flat.
Ironstride: “Begin.”
Kaida lunges. No warning. No polite sparring approach. A blur of orange hair, flame and muscle.
They clash hard. She leads with a shoulder-check meant to rattle. He catches it, absorbing the force with barely a grunt.
🎶 “Oh, you’re so precious, you’re a fucking delinquent…” 🎶
She cackles in his face as he tries to angle for her belt.
Kaida (shouting over the music): “C’mon! Get your hands on me, big guy!”
He actually succeeds for half a second. Fingers hooking her belt. Her eyes flash with manic glee.
She twists, dropping her weight. Flames burst along his arm—controlled but bright enough to sear his uniform sleeve. He doesn’t react. Doesn’t even flinch. Just readjusts, shifting metal plates under his skin to reinforce his grip.
They strain. Locked. Teeth bared. Face to face.
Kaida (low, challenging, voice filthy on purpose): “Gonna pin me or buy me dinner first?”
Ironstride’s nostrils flare. But he says nothing. Eyes locked on hers.
For a moment, no one speaks. Just the music blasting. Pulse pounding. Wildlight half hiding behind Glassheart.
🎶 “Kiss me there, oh kiss me there!” 🎶
Kaida pushes her forehead into his. Smirking.
Kaida: “Well? Don’t keep a bitch waiting.”
Ironstride exhales once. His voice comes out like gravel.
Ironstride: “Stop talking.”
He moves. Quick. Decisive. Metal arm braced to hook her waist. Ready to drop.
Kaida: “Good. Fucking try me.”
They collide again. Hard enough the mat squeals under them. Flames flash. Metal groans.
They hit the mat hard. Ironstride’s arm hooks around her waist. He’s trying to anchor her hips. He’s big, metal, and unyielding.
Kaida snarls. Flames surge under his arm, searing hot enough to sing the metal plates beneath his uniform. He doesn’t let go. Grimace tight. Silent.
🎶 “Oh scream and shout, truth or dare—kiss me there!” 🎶
Kaida (through her teeth): “You’re gonna have to do better than that, tin man.”
He shifts. Weight over her thighs. Tries to flatten her to the mat. But she twists savagely, using the friction against his grip.
Flames jet from her palms—angled just enough to blast the mat under them, launching her hips sideways.
Ironstride has to rebalance. Moment of loosened control.
Kaida strikes. Elbow to his ribs, flame-coated. His armor plating deflects most of it—but the heat cracks against his side.
He grunts. Barely. Metal arm tightens on her belt. Voice low.
Ironstride: “Hold. Still.”
Kaida (laughing, breathless, feral): “Make me asshat!”
She shifts her weight fast. Shoulder drops. She bites his bicep—hard enough he actually flinches.
The second he reacts, she surges up, hooking her leg around his and rolling.Momentum takes him over.
He catches himself on an elbow. But her flames flare against his chest, pushing.
They crash back to the mat. Kaida on top. Straddling his hips. Both breathing hard.
🎶 “It’s a makeout party on another dimension…” 🎶
Wildlight is now covering his face. Glassheart is grimly taking notes, pretending not to watch.
Ironstride grabs her hips, trying to throw her. She leans in. Forehead to forehead. Eyes wild. Voice low.
Kaida (smirking): “Five seconds, huh? Count it out for me.”
Ironstride freezes. Not because he can’t move her. Because the challenge in her eyes is so raw it actually stops him.
She presses down. Flames licking across his armored chest. Her voice mocking, sweet as poison.*
Kaida: “Oh come on, big guy. Didn’t think I’d make you work for it?”
He growls under his breath. Tries to shift. She locks her ankles under his thighs. He has the strength to break it. But she’s baiting him. Daring him to lose control.
Kaida (soft, filthy): “Do it. Pin me. Break me.”
Ironstride’s jaw clenches so tight his teeth grind. Metal groans. He stops. He’s not losing. He’s refusing to hurt her the way it would take to win.
Kaida (voice drops, eyes glittering): “That’s what I thought.”
The music howls obscenities. She sits up, plants her hands on his chest, and shoves off. Rolls clear.
Ironstride sits up too. Breathing heavy. Arms on his knees. She’s already on her feet. Brushing ash off her pants. Hair wild.
Kaida (broad, unrepentant grin): “That’s a no, then. Guess I’m staying put.”
She saunters over to the speaker, still blaring. Turns it down with a flick. Turns to them. Arms spread in mock innocence.
Kaida: “Well? That was fun. Get the fuck out of my agency.”
Wildlight is just staring. Glassheart pinches her nose.*
Glassheart (dry): “Negotiations went well, then.”
Wildlight (voice cracking): “She bit him!”
Ironstride stands slowly. Brushes the burn mark on his uniform. Metal arm still hot to the touch. He just looks at her. Expression unreadable. But his eyes? Dark. Calculating. A little impressed.
Kaida sees it.
Winks.
Kaida: “Five seconds is a long time, Ironstride. Come back when you’re ready to try again.”
She turns her back on them, dismissing them completely. Ironstride watches her go. Silent. Unmoving. But there’s a faint twitch in his jaw.

Ironstride is the first through the door. Face unreadable. Uniform singed. Metal arm still faintly scorched. Glassheart follows, pulling the door shut behind them with a resigned sigh. She’s already pulling out her notes. Wildlight drags his feet, groaning loudly.
Wildlight (loud whisper): “Well… that was a complete disaster.”
Glassheart (flat): “I’ve seen failed hostage negotiations go better.”
Wildlight: “Jeanist is gonna love this. ‘Hey, sorry boss, she burned the mats, threatened to kill us, and bit Ironstride. But other than that it went great!’”
Ironstride doesn’t say a word. But the corner of his eye twitches.
Glassheart (dry): “We’ll file the report. We did our best. She’s not interested. Jeanist will just have to—”
A loud creak of the door behind them. Kaida stomps into the hall. Hair smoking slightly. Grin razor-sharp.
Kaida: “Wait.”
They freeze. Wildlight looks like he might bolt.
Kaida (pointing accusingly): “Did you just say Jeanist?”
Wildlight blinks. Nods slowly.
Wildlight: “…Yeah?”
Kaida’s eyes light up. Like a kid on Christmas morning. She actually claps once.
Kaida: “Why the fuck didn’t you say that earlier?! Jeanist?! Best Jeanist?! That Jeanist?!”
Glassheart cautiously: “He’s our leader. He runs point on all recruitment.”
Kaida’s grin goes feral. She rubs her hands together, eyes glittering.
Kaida: “Man, my dad goes way back with that uptight motherfucker. I’m gonna annoy the shit outta him. He still hate swearing? Tell me he still hates swearing.”
Wildlight (hesitant): “…Yes?”
Kaida (claps again): “Fucking excellent. Where do I sign?”
The three of them just stare at her. Ironstride doesn’t move but his eyebrow actually twitches.Glassheart lowers her clipboard very slowly.
Glassheart (carefully): “…So that’s a yes?”
Kaida: “That’s a hell yes. Tell Jeanist to get ready for me to be his worst PR nightmare. It’s gonna be hilarious.”
Wildlight can’t help it. He laughs. It’s half relief, half hysteria.
Wildlight: “Oh my god. We actually did it.”
Kaida (pointing at Ironstride): “Hey Metal Bastard—you’re the muscle, right? Hope you’re ready to keep up. I’m gonna be using you to my advantage a whole fucking lot, don’t pull your punches next time!”
Ironstride meets her gaze. Unblinking.Voice calm, but there is a hint of annoyance underneath.
Ironstride: “Alright.”
Kaida smirks. Spins on her heel.
Kaida: “Good. I’m gonna make you all regret this so fucking fast.”
She shoves the door back open and disappears inside.
The three stand there in silence.
Wildlight (quietly, after a moment): “So… Jeanist is gonna kill us or thank us?”
Glassheart flips her clipboard shut: “Jeanist is going to adopt her out of sheer spite.”
Ironstride just stares at the door she disappeared through. His jaw works once. Then he turns, starts walking back to the transport.
Ironstride (low, certain): “She’s going to fit in just fine.”
Meet the HSC, year 1:
Jeanist (Best Jeanist)

Quirk: Fiber Master (manipulates threads and fibers)
Hero Rank: Former #3, now semi-retired

Japan’s “Senior Statesman” of heroics. Best Jeanist is the HSC’s reluctant father figure—meticulous about discipline, etiquette, and tactical precision. He radiates old-school authority, and his reputation as a hero who values integrity over image makes him the most trusted face of the HSC to the public.
He’s famous for his death glare that can silence a whole squad. Despite being technically retired, he chairs HSC meetings, coordinates joint ops, and runs PR. He’s the only one who can almost keep Kaida in line.
✅ Role: Leader, enforcer of standards, PR handler, mentor
✅ Image: Professional, calm, unflappable—even when the team is in flames behind him

Personality: Brash, brutally honest, wildly tactical, zero filter
Description:
Enigma is infamous for two things: her terrifying combat skill and her complete inability to lie. She’s the HSC’s wildcard, known for being as likely to burn down a villain cell as to cuss out the city council on live TV. Her firepower is exceptional—but what makes her lethal is her field command ability and instinctive tactical reading.
She’s also the PR nightmare of the team. She says exactly what she thinks, no matter who’s listening. But in battle? She’s an unflinching leader who would die for her squad.
✅ Role: Shock trooper, tactician, rescue op lead, unofficial “face” due to popularity

Despite the showboating, he’s loyal in a crisis, using his quirk creatively for rescues and crowd control.

She’s the one who writes the mission plans everyone ignores and then saves their asses anyway.

✅ Role: Diplomat, negotiator, strategy planner
✅ Image: “Corporate Batman,” fighting Kaida’s brand damage daily

Meet the Takami Family (and Grandpa!)
KAIDA TAKAMI:
HERO NAME: Enigma
Japan’s #2 Pro Hero—and the last person you want to piss off.
Kaida Takami isn’t your polished PR poster girl. She’s a brawler, a tactician, and a human Molotov cocktail of raw willpower and biting sarcasm. Born with a volatile Hellflame quirk, she’s spent her life turning that dangerous inheritance into an art of controlled chaos.
Personality
- Brutally honest. If she thinks it, she says it. No filter, no apologies.
- Competitive as hell. Hates losing more than she loves winning.
- Obsessive work ethic. Outworks everyone. Trains until she drops.
- Loyal, but not soft. Would burn the world for her family—but calls them on their bullshit, too.
- Surprisingly tactical. Behind the brash exterior is a sharp strategic mind that plans battles like chess games.
Fighting Style
- Brawler first, flamethrower second.
- Loves close-quarters combat. Punches, grapples, slams—often enhanced by sudden bursts of fire.
- Signature move: Hellstep—using flame to launch into the air, boost movement, dodge, and deliver bone-breaking hits.
- Constantly tests herself by taking hits to learn limits and weaknesses.
Quirk: Hellflame
- Inherited from the family line.
- Incredibly powerful, but naturally unstable.
- Spent years mastering control to avoid collateral damage.
- Uses it surgically in fights—every blast has a purpose.

- Authenticity. Even if you hate her mouth, you know she’s real.
- Relentless. Once she sets her mind on something, she will get it done.
Weaknesses
- PR Nightmare. Swears on camera, insults journalists, refuses to memorize talking points.
- Reckless streak. Will bait enemies to hit her just to test her endurance.
- Terrible at resting. Doesn’t know how to slow down.
- Not subtle socially. Will call a teammate “teacup” or “china princess” if they can’t keep up.
Family Dynamics

- Riku: Her quieter, serious brother. They bicker constantly, but no one else is allowed to insult him.
- Yuki: Her baby sister, the one person she won’t corrupt with her language (too much). Fiercely protective.
- Enji: Her mentor and the one who taught her to control Hellflame. Gruff, demanding, but unflinchingly honest—just how Kaida likes it.
Public Image
- Japan’s #4 Pro.
- Famous for being unstoppable in a crisis—and unmanageable in an interview.
- Accidentally popular because she’s real. No fake smiles, no forced slogans.
- “Legacy Hero” whether she likes it or not—she’s the granddaughter of the original Hellflame Pro.
What You’ll Hear Her Say

RIKU TAKAMI: THE QUIET MIDDLE CHILD
A detective’s mind in a hero family’s body.
Riku Takami is the kind of man who doesn’t need a spotlight. Where his famous older sister burns everything in her path and his little sister radiates sunny optimism, Riku is the steady, watchful center. Flaws

Keigo Takami – Hawks
The Red-Winged Hero. The Fastest Man Alive. The Sarcastic Old Hawk.
Hawks is Japan’s #1 showman-turned-veteran-mentor, a man who learned the hard way that style isn’t everything—but it sure gets you in the door. Once the Commission’s ultimate weapon and poster boy, he’s now a father, a husband, a retired agency head who can’t quite stop “just checking in.”
Appearance Over Time
- He’s always been impossible to miss: lean and athletic, with brilliant red wings that seem to telegraph every mood.
- Young Hawks: Cocky grin, perfectly styled hair, flashy cream-and-gold costume. Every inch the Commission’s Golden Boy.
- Mid-Career: Broader shoulders, slightly messier hair, darker practical suits. Still striking, but the flamboyance traded for subtle authority.
- Older Hero: Lines at his eyes, five-o’clock shadow he won’t shave, wings darker and heavier from wear. Dressed to work, not to impress.
- Retirement: Grey at the temples, civilian clothes unless he’s pulling rookie drills or gardening. But the boots? Always close by—just in case.
Personality
- Underneath the banter, Hawks is a study in contradictions.
- Witty, razor-sharp, and fast-talking. If you’re slow on the uptake, expect to get skewered.
- Observant and strategic. Sees the angles in every conversation, every fight.
- Sardonic but affectionate. He teases the people he loves most.
- Protective to a fault. For family, he’d burn the world down.

Enji Todoroki / Endeavor
The Flame Hero Who Never Burned Out—Even When He Tried to Change.
Enji Todoroki is a man of fire even in his old age—less a roaring blaze these days than a slow, unyielding coal. At 70+, he’s not the #1 Pro Hero anymore, but he’s never stopped being Endeavor. Gruff, disciplined, impossibly demanding of himself and others—but also, in his final decades, capable of a quiet, wordless kind of care only those closest to him ever got to see.
Appearance (70s)
- Tall, broad, thickly built even in old age.
- Heavy shoulders, still visibly strong beneath plain clothes.
- Hair fully white, cut shorter and simpler than in his hero prime.
- Eyebrows still dark and furrowed in habitual scowl.
- Deep lines across his forehead and around his eyes.
- Burn scars prominent but softened by age.
- Eyes like banked coals—dimmed from youth’s fury but still sharp.
- Walks with deliberate weight, no wasted movement.
Style & Presence
- Dressed simply: dark slacks, work shirts, old training gi tops if at home.
- Retired from the flamboyant hero suit—but sometimes keeps it in view, a relic and a warning.
- Carries himself with absolute, unpretending authority.
- When he enters a room, everyone feels it—even if he says nothing.
- Known for crossed arms, unblinking stares, and long silences.
Personality
- Stern. Demanding. Unapologetically blunt.
- Holds others to the same impossible standards he sets for himself.
- Says little; expects you to understand much.
- Reputation for severity, but never for dishonesty.
- Emotions run deep but are rarely spoken.
- Has a dry, even surprising humor when it emerges—usually at his own expense.
- Loyal, protective in his own harsh way.
- Fiercely committed to growth—even if he never forgave himself for needing it.
Hero History (Always Present)
- Former #1 Pro Hero, Endeavor.
- Famed for unmatched firepower and relentless pursuit of perfection.
- Equally infamous for the cruelty and single-minded obsession of his earlier years.
- Publicly attempted to redeem himself late in life—by refusing to sugarcoat what he’d done, and by doing better every day without expecting applause.
- Privately viewed his flame as responsibility before power.
Quirk
- Hellflame.
- Even at 70+, devastatingly strong when used.
- But controlled to a near-artform by old age—like a sword that can cut paper without tearing it.
- Used sparingly, almost reluctantly, in retirement.
- Demeanor with Family
- Gruff, dry, and unyielding—but present.
- Never coddles.
- Praises sparingly, but when he does, it lands.
- Shows love through actions: training, waiting up for them, treating injuries without comment.
- Expects honesty, effort, and respect—gives the same in return.
- Especially with Kaida: treated her as an equal-in-training once she earned it.
Enji & Kaida (Special Bond)
- The only person who truly understood her quirk’s volatility.
- Saw himself in her stubbornness, her raw power, her refusal to quit.
- Pushed her harder than anyone, but never tried to make her him.
- Never said “I love you.” Didn’t need to. She knew.
- Rare praise meant everything: a single “Good” was worth more than any speech.
- Was the one adult who let her be angry, foul-mouthed, hurt—and just trained her anyway.
- Sat with her in silence when words were too much.
Strengths
- Impeccable combat intuition.
- Strategic mind sharpened by decades of leadership.
- Immense personal discipline.
- Unflinching honesty.
- Surprisingly good listener if you had the nerve to speak plainly.
- Devotion to self-improvement, even in old age.
Flaws
- Struggled to apologize in words.
- Could be so blunt he shut people out.
- Carried old guilt like armor, never laying it down.
- Never fully learned to explain his care in ways softer people understood.
Public Image (Late Life)
- Seen as the “old warrior” of the hero world.
- Respected even by those who resented him.
- Seen as reformed by some, unrepentant by others.
- Kept a low profile but would appear when needed to advise.
- Heroes still sought his counsel in training, if they dared.
Core Traits
- Relentless.
- Blunt.
- Protective.
- Disciplined.
- Honorable, on his own harsh terms.
- Capable of quiet, crushing gentleness no one expected.
In Short
Enji Todoroki in his 70s was not a softer man—but he was a better one. He didn’t chase atonement with grand gestures. He didn’t apologize with words he felt unworthy to speak. He taught, he watched, he waited, he stayed.
He was a man who knew his fire could destroy—and spent the end of his life making sure it didn’t.
And for Kaida Takami, he was not her father. He wasn’t trying to be.
He was something rarer: the person who never flinched from her flame.

I’ve been working on this lately, a little Huwumi story. Cold front follows Fuyumi as she turns from elementary school teacher to pro hero in the span of three years. Her identity is unknown to the public, she operates as discreetly as she can, until about 18 months in when the commission offers her full immunity from criminal charges in exchange for her registering. She gets her license, a new suit, and some additional medical bonuses and continues on, no longer a vigilante. She ranks top 10, but as crime rates and pro hero casualties increase the comission instated a policy that all pros must partner with another. Enter Hawks.
I tried out AI images for the first time! It was fun, but I think I’ll stick to doing art projects on my own, though AI is a blast to excitement with!
