For this project, I picked dandelions from around my yard and then found this patch of pretty purple/blue flowers. I decided to make a heart around the flowers with the dandelions I pick. I love flowers so these purple and blue ones around my yard were very nice to see.

Final: Post-it note instillation
I decided to do a positive and encouraging post-it note instillation and shared them in the main bathroom in the Riley Center. It’s getting a lot of foot traffic in preparation for graduation and people studying for finals. I thought something like this could make someone smile during a stressful time.
Final
Outside of this class I would like to continue to create different collages. The collages I made this semester were some of my favorite pieces. I really enjoy using many different things, like trash or old magazines, the options are truly endless.
Final- Outdoor Artwork
I tried to use sticks to depict a path. Your path might switch directions but it still keeps on going. This can be similar to how people are feeling while navigating through life.
Final-College Journey
This painting depicts my feels about my college journey at this point in time. I’m very excited for the future but also really enjoying my last few weeks of college. I used bright and happy colors to paint a ton of smiley faces.

Final-Morgue
I chose to paint my college house which is named “Morgue”. I painted my house because I have created some of my favorite memories here with my 6 roommates. It’s definitely a painting i’ll keep and cherish forever!
For this cubism assignment I have depicted a scene from the lacrosse field out of trash. I created grass from the wrapper of a Nature Valley granola bar. Standing on the grass is a player holding a lacrosse stick and throwing a ball, which I made out of a sour patch kid that fell on my floor, w q tip, bottle tabs and a cap. The net was made out of tape and straws that I cut up to make posts.
Week 7: Fauvism
I chose my partner-in-crime, Koa, for my Fauvism portrait. I used India inks and pencil for this portrait and replaced her normally brown and black fur for vivid pinks and blues. Koa is an eccentric dog, so the boldness of the colors speaks to her personality. She also can be caring and calm too, so these colors match her vibe well. The crazy strokes and droplets were originally just from me filling the space and from frustration over the portrait not being “perfect”, but I actually really love the result.
For my futurism project I chose to draw a picture of the iPhone. I wanted to emphasize the size of the iPhone because I think it will get even bigger than the ones we have now. I also drew the face on it because I think in the future the iPhone will pretty much be able to do everything the human can do. I added the the crown headband to show the brightness and the ideas behind the iPhone and how surprising it can be.
Feminism
For my feminism project, I laid down in the grass and had one of my roommates trace me with the leaves. Then I collected more leaves to fill in the trace of my body. I chose to use leaves because they reflect the changing seasons, and being a senior I’m also about to experience a lot of change after I graduate.

Street Art
For my street art, I tried to depict a person holding up the earth with a yellow person which can be seen in many of Keith Haring’s artwork. I drew a big heart on the person to show their love for taking care of the earth and their appreciation for it.
Movement
I made a crocodile hand puppet. His name is Chomper and he is always hungry and will eat anything in sight. He’s has dirty yellow teeth from the swamp water.
This is the Pringle Purse 3000, with a durable paper bag strap reinforced with masking tape. This piece is also complimented by a rubber banded lid that ensures the end cap will never go missing. Check out how easy access is to chapstick for my long time friend, Andrew!
For my art project I decided to make binoculars! I used two red solo cups and super glued 2 pieces of glass along with some pre wrap to make the necklace!

Earth Art
Triangle
Triangles are known to represent manifestations, revelation, enlightenment, and a higher perspective. This shape has also been used to communicate hidden messages, depending on how or where you’re looking at it, it can communicate a different message. Triangles can be seen as recycle symbols, yield signs, or hierarchy of needs. It’s even seen in architecture, like ancient Egyptian pyramids. The triangle can be a symbol for trios, like, mind, body, and spirit or past, present, and future. In dreams, a triangle can represent hidden mysteries, wisdom, and finding balance and harmony within conflicting aspects of yourself.
Surrealism
I used a fruit by the foot box for the purse and then the wrappers for the strap and braided 3 of the wrappers to make a handle. I even included a small coin purse from the wrapper.
