How I found my first client? It is a funniest memory đ
I learned WordPress by watching Youtube videos and my own creativity.
One day I randomly watched a youtube video title was "how to get clients in facebook'.
I'm continuously watching that video, then I found a strategy to get a client in facebook.
So that, I created a post to attract the client.
After sometime, I got 10 comments with I need website.
I replied every prospect and I asked them to do DM.
But the thing is no one replied me. đ
After a long time, I saw a message on my Fb Messager.
I continued chat with them.
She was a pintrest strategist, she asked a wordpress website to me.
I told her to I have a hosting link, If you purchased the hosting by my link I do complete site for free.
When she said, "Yeah ok, but I already have site. I need to do customization only"
Then I thought, Oh god, How to close this client? đ¤ I need to start my client project. Then only I can get some experience from freelancing.
So I made up my mind, then I gave a quote to client.
My first quote was $35 for single page site.đ
She done her payment through PayPal. Then I started my work.
Within two days I completed that site. She was very happy truly.
When I don't know how much can charge for a service. But the only thing in my mind is I need to close a client and work for them.
The payment is bigger or smaller that's not a matter. I made a decision on that time.
It helped me to gain more experience in my freelance journey.
So If you are starting freelancing journey, Don't aim for money. Instead, aim for gaining more knowledge and experience.
