All these pieces are in good shape, but they are worn, so expect that. I live in a house with animals, so even tough the clothes are washed, there might still be some hair on there.

I love all of these, but with work and the animals and all the plans for the future, it is highly likely overalls will be most of my daily wear 😂 and these pieces are too beautiful and special to not be worn.

BEE QUILT

WHen I started quilted more hardcore, I made two bee quilts. I intended to only make one, but miscalculated the fabric, and had cut and sewn enough for two.

I was doing Kaffe Fassett Abundance quilt, that Donna Jordan later replicated with Kaffe’s fabric. It’s just all half-square triangles, but laid in such a fashion that it’s one huge diamond. I missed a couple of rows in the original. And by the time I got to the second quilt, I was so brain tried, it ended up all just being HST in the same direction. No biggie really.

I used Deb Strain’s Bee Grateful (for Moda) and Bee’s Life by Tara Reed (for Riley Blake). I also had a couple of generic bee fabrics from JoAnn I threw into the mix.

What fun. Gold, black and white, and with bees, will never get old.

I still have bits of the bee fabrics here and there.
