Generational Gardens Legacy Challenge
With the addition of the Cottage Living expansion pack to the sims 4, I’ve decided to write a ten generation legacy challenge themed around gardening and flowers! All of these flowers are available in game, though some cannot simply be purchased through a garden plot, so creating your garden may be more difficult!
     General Rules:
~Each generation must have a garden of the flower the generation is named after. You may garden other fruits, vegetables, and herbs, however you may not plant other flowers.
~Money cheats are fine. You may build yourself a new house each generation using however much money you want.
~Need cheats are not *technically* fine, however, I use them all the time, so I won’t get too butt hurt if you do use them.
~Obviously, have fun, and feel free to twist and interpret the rules however you please in order to expand on some creative ideas.

      Generation One: Bluebell
Meaning: Gratitude, long-lasting love, humility
     You grew up with a lack of love and money, but you decide to start your life anew in a new town where nobody knew you or your past. You love flowers, and gardening, so you decide to start your own farm. Your children are your plants, until you have one of your own, and then your whole world centers on them. You’d never let anything bad happen to them, and you hope they grow up to have all of the happiness you didn’t get.
     Traits: Family-Oriented, Gloomy, Loves the Outdoors      Aspiration: Super Parent      Career: Stay at home Farmer

      Generation Two: Daisy
Meaning: Happiness, friendship
     You grew up in a loving household, and it’s made you a very cheerful person. You and your mom worked on the farm together every day after school, and you could not be closer with her. You’re a huge people person, and you want to know everyone there is to know in your town. You’ve always loved the idea that you’re supposed to marry your best friend… but how do you determine who’s best?

     Generation Three: Snapdragon
Meaning: Deception, strength
     You always wanted a love like your parents’, and you think you’ve found it in your high school sweetheart. However, three children into the marriage, and they’ve done something unforgivable, so you leave them. You throw yourself into your children and your work. Your mother could never instill her love of gardening into you, but you have a hobby garden, just to remind you of her.

      Generation Four: Lily
Meaning: Purity, rebirth, sympathy
     Your parents’ divorce wrecked you. The pitying glances, the lack of contact from your father, and, most of all, no longer believing in love. You’ve resolved to never let someone into your mind, let alone your heart. You move in with your best friend after high school, both pursuing an acting career, and you realize that maybe romantic love isn’t the only love there is...

      Generation Five: Rose
Meaning: Romance, passion, love
     Your parents weren’t like other parents, and, hey, good for them. You, however, wanted a love like the movies that they so often starred in. But it’s hard to love someone when there’s always the chance of someone better coming along. You don’t mean to sound cruel, but how do you ever really know when someone is perfect for you?

     Generation Six: Tulip
Meaning: Fascination, energy, desire
     You’ve always been obsessed with crystals and metals. They’re shiny. They’re rare. They’re… they’re expensive! Turning a childhood obsession into something profitable takes a lot of work, but you’re willing to put in the effort. You dream of having all of the crystals the world has to offer, and, hey, if that takes you to space, then you’ll go to space. 3…2…1… Liftoff!

      Generation Seven: Orchid
Meaning: Respect, dignity, wealth
     Your parent(s) made you rich, and you plan to stay that way. You have never and will never work a day in your life… until your parent(s) cut you off. All you have is the money you last withdrew out of their bank account, so it’s time to get a job… fast. You manage to get an entry level position at a nearby retail store, but you’re barely scraping by. You hop from job to job, until you settle on something that could get you where you want to be.
     Traits: Snob, Music Lover, Proper      Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy      Career: Retail Employee, Barista, Business

     Generation Eight: Dahlia
Meaning: Beauty, elegance, honesty, uniqueness
     You grew up rich, however, unlike your mother, it never got to your head. Your parents made sure of that. They made sure you saw the injustice of the world, and to show compassion to those most in need. You decided to become a lawyer because of this, and now you’ve got to navigate that world, shielding your heart and dreams from those who wish to crush them.

Meaning: Warning, and justice
     Your parents raised you on hope and a prevailing sense of justice. If you feel something isn’t right, you will let them know, and you will stand your ground. So when you realize that people just don’t care about the animals you love, you dedicate your life to saving them. It starts with just cleaning up the beach, until eventually you’re the Master of Marine Affairs.
     Traits: Self-Assured, Animal Enthusiast, and Green Fiend      Aspiration: Outdoor Enthusiast      Career: Conservationist

Meaning: Loyalty, devotion, longevity

You were always into more dreary things… dead things. You find the darkest town you can and move there, only to find out that it’s filled with vampires! Normal people would be horrified, but you couldn’t be happier. You soon meet someone who you’re willing to live forever with, and they turn you.
