It has a double meaning, because in the clip he says that he skipped lots of classes and that’s what fare assenze means, but it says a lot that they chose this word. Yeah, Martino skipped school for a week straight, but at the end of the day what matters to him? One of the most painful parts of that clip was how the second Lucas saw Eva he asked if she wanted to hang out. Like his instinct was just to be there for his friend and when she kept accusing him he just begged her to talk about it with him but she wouldn’t give him that chance and you can really feel how much that hurt him. Like the only person he’s ever trusted with his deepest secret, doesn’t trust him back. How lonely and heartbreaking is that? I’m so sad
