“Yeah, it did,” Henrik said speaking from what he had seen as he walked around the island.  He had seen what happened to his neighbors houses.  

tatia  tilted  her  head  as  she  looked  at  the  man  ---  there  was  something  familiar  about  him.  ❝  i’m  sure  it  will  be  improved  with  time.  ❞

“It’s all replaceable. The important thing is not that many people lost their lives to it.” She’s only heard of a few, but it wasn’t the a mass number of people.

❝  you’re  right.  it  is  still  a  tragedy  that  some  people  lost  their  lives,  although  it  could  have  been  catastrophically  worse.  ❞

Freya just sat on a towel on the sand, basking in the warm rays of the sun. She had been on the island for a week, but would never get us to this feelings, a feeling of being free. Her mother made a deal with her aunt before she was even bored and it led to her being taken away. And she was taken to a place where she was under the control of her aunt and had to sleep for a century while only being able to live for a year. But now she was free from all of that and could live her life.

❝  yeah,  that’s  understandable.  peace  and  quiet  can  really  be  something.  ❞  thea  looked  at  the  woman  with  a  small  smile.  she  had  come  to  the  beach  to  gather  her  thoughts.  after  all,  with  a  life  as  messy  as  her  own,  taking  some  time  out  to  recharge  was  important.  ❝  you  can  stay  for  as  long  as  you  like,  anyway,  no  one’s  going  to  stop  you.  ❞

“Well this is quite the adjustment.” His British accent rang out clear, watching as a cut on his hand just continued to bleed and didn’t heal as it would if he were a vampire. Eyes narrowed in thought before popping a sucker back into his mouth, forgetting about the cut on his hand. “What in the hell is this place?”

allison  watched  him  with  curiosity.  the  island  was  definitely  something  special  for  sure,  yet  this  man  seemed  surprised  by  his  ability  to  bleed.  ❝  what  do  you  mean  ?  you  seriously  don’t  know  where  you  are  ?  ❞

Cole shifted in the bed, looking up at to the face next to her. Blinking till his vision focused. “Allison,” he muttered coarsely. “I- where am i?” 

❝  you’re  in  hospital.  ❞  allison  sighed  deeply  as  she  sat  down  on  the  bed  beside  him.  ❝  how  did  this  happen  ?  ❞

It was just like when he had been human. When the source had been inside his head, fighting to take over. Even with his demon side, the source could kick his ass. Had kicked his ass. Left him for dead. He was bloody and beaten up. Death would be here soon, he knew that. Nothing he could do about it. He felt everything go black, not sure he would wake up again.

when  allison  had  heard  about  cole’s  condition,  she  had  headed  straight  for  the  hospital.  her  mind  filled  with  all  kinds  of  worry  &  her  stomach  laced  with  dread.  she  looked  at  him  in  the  hospital  bed,  her  eyes  widened  at  the  sight.  ❝  what  happened  ?  ❞

“yeah, i would hate if this island was destroyed. it’s the only island i’ve ever known.” camilla was one of the few who were actually born on the island.

❝  it  would  be  very  unfortunate.  many  people  call  it  their  homes,  after  all.  i  am  only  starting  to  get  my  balance.  ❞

                ‘I don’t like this feeling, I’ve liked feeling useless and powerless. I grew up in a family of supernaturals where I thought I was the only normal human. So when I found out I was a witch, I knew I was never going to feel powerless again.’

“One can hope, right,” she questioned looking around them. “Might take a few weeks though.”

❝  yes,  i  believe  it  will  take  some  time  to  return  to  normal.  i’m  just  glad  that  most  weren’t  injured.  ❞

“mum?” gilbert asked as he looked over at the woman before hearing the accent. “sorry –– i thought you were someone else. the island has a way of healing itself.”

tatia  frowned  deeply  at  the  word,  eyes  landing  on  the  stranger.  ❝  do  not  apologize,  i  know  my  face  has  a  tendency  to  confuse.  my  name  is  tatia.  who  is  your  mother,  if  i  may  ask  ?  ❞

Enzo studies the girl before him, she looked like Elena but didn’t talk like Elena. “You’re not Elena… and you’re most definitely not Katherine. Which one are you?”

❝  to  be  regarded  as  just  another  familiar  face  has  started  to  take  a  toll  on  me.  my  name  is  tatia.  ❞

“Kind of weird, isn’t it? An island that repairs itself. Makes it kind of hard to ignore the magic all around.”

❝  yes,  it  would  seem  that  way.  maybe  it  is  a  good  thing  that  magic  can  be  seen  as  something  not  to  be  feared.  ❞
