Hello, I've made a blog that isn't a gimmick blog! It's this one, right here! You probably know me better as @network-rail, or possibly @badopenttdideas, or maybe even @network-southeast (I've made a lot of these, haven't I?). Anyways, this here blog isn't me pretending to be a railway organization or give bad advice for playing a very specific video game, it's where I'll be posting normal things (for a given value of normal), fanart (of trains and also things that aren't trains – my artistic talents know no bounds), and whatever else I can think of. I go by he/him, I'm british and american, and you will know nothing else about me. Anyway, here's some of the things I'm currently interested in that you can expect to see on this blog:
Trains! But you probably already knew that. Most train-related things will probably go on @network-rail unless it would break character too much. Although I'll probably reblog train-related art to here (or to there, depending on where I post it).
Minecraft youtube; specifically the Life Series, Hermitcraft, and adjacent series like Vampires SMP. My main perspective for all of those is Pearl, although I do watch other people as well.

A small assortment of original characters (those following @network-rail may have already seen a few of these. there are more)
Mathematics! And physics! Yes, I am referring to the academic disciplines. Because I like them and you will have to see them. If you get nervous when you see things like ∇.u or ∫𝑓(𝑥)d𝑥 or ε > 0 then I guess you can just ignore those. Do not believe @cosmos-dot-semicolon when it says that I'm afraid of matrices, I am not afraid of matrices, I just don't like them. (if you're reading this, please come up with the name for the phobia of matrices so you can sound more authoritative when you make slanderous accusations about my character)
Various other fandoms I'm in but that I'm not as involved in as those above, so I don't really have a comprehensive list of these (this includes the podcast Well There's Your Problem and the video game Slay the Princess, amongst others)
Random drawings/doodles I've made that aren't fanart of anything but also aren't original characters or trains (to give a few examples: Royal Snail [Royal Mail but snails], a bar of noap, a radioactive watermelon, a friend of mine if it was a squid, and a dinosaur crossing a bridge)
I'll probably be posting some art that I've already made but didn't really have anywhere to show off until now, although maybe not right this second. Prepare for that. Also expect new art of all of those things to show up as well, mostly drawn with colored pencils & paper. I will also reblog other people's art that I think is cool. Anyways that's all for now, you should go drink some water, eat some food, dig a hole in the ground, make some steel, and observe some flowers. It'll make you feel better.
Also, I have some plants. I've kept them alive for over three years now and I'm very proud of them (one of them started growing flowers recently and I was extremely excited by this).
