“I don’t mean to pry and I’m sure you get loads of questions but your visions, do you ever see people?” Electra asked, “Like specific people, I mean. I assume you might have visions of the stuff that’s been happening and I wonder if you see people like my parents,” she paused and shook her head, “Sorry, you don’t have to answer that.”

Electra tapped Jasper on the shoulder to get his attention, “Sorry, I don’t mean to disturb you. I just wanted to say that you dropped this. Well, I think it’s yours. It was by the door. If it’s not, then sorry again,” she held up the object for him to see.

“Did you hear that?” Electra asked, turning toward the source of the noise, “That’s unusual. What do you think that was?”

“Hey Arie-” Electra started and then stopped herself, “MacNair. Sorry, I thought you were your sister. You’d think as a twin myself I’d be able to tell others apart.”

“That is a lot of paperwork,” Electra said, looking at the files in front ot the other, “I don’t know how you managed to carry that all here let alone how you’re going to get through it all.”

“I am back to the point where I want to change my name,” Electra said, pushing the newspaper away as she spotted her family name plastered all over it, “Family sucks.”

“I have to say air con is the thing I miss most about when my bandmates and I were in the States,” he admitted with a chuckle, making a mental note to check out fans on his way home. “Thanks,” Axel replied as he handed her the suncream and began applying it to his features. 

“Accidentally hit someone? Is that the excuse you’re going with?” Evelyn laughed, shaking her head a little. “What’s wrong with letting loose a little? Are you that concerned about what other people will think?” Because it seemed to stop so many people doing things these days and it seemed like such a shame.

“With my family probably,” the blonde laughed back. “A cursebreaker? That’s sick. Do you like what you do?” Stella didn’t know too much about the profession so she thought it was worth asking. “For sure,” she nodded. “Sometimes I even try to revisit my old work on a new canvas and see what it looks like painted in my new style.”

“I mean, it depends on who you ask. To me, caffeine is definitely the important part.” Gwen joked, a smile on her face. “Well that’s a real loss for you but I’ll stare enough for both of us.” The woman teased, tossing Electra a wink. “The beach hm?”

“I guess that’s fair,” Axel shrugged briefly. “It’s the beauty of having the seasons in the first place, right? We get to experience the cold for a bit and then the heat. Keeps things interesting in a way,” he then mused vaguely. “Shit, are we? I need to go invest in a fan or something then, I don’t want to boil to death,” Axel chuckled. “Oh that’d be nice actually! Thank you,” he replied appreciatively.

“You are going to be absolutely awful for my already abnormally large ego, aren’t you?” she joked. “That makes total sense to me,” Stella nodded, definitely having had a few moments like that herself. Creativity often struck spontaneously, so artists could be up at any time of day or night responding to its call. “I think that’s a great idea. Even if you don’t use it for future jobs or anything, it could be nice to have everything in one place. You could even organize it to showcase your progress overtime.”

Cassius sighed, then nodded. “Thanks for that,” he replied and held out a hand for the documents. “Are they something I need to look at now or can they be added to another mountain of files on my desk?” He asked, offering the other a small smile.

“What do you mean this doesn’t do it for you? Am I embarrassing you with my stellar dance moves? You wish you could move like this.” Evie couldn’t resist teasing her companion, an expression of playful challenge on her face. “I can see that foot tap. Come on, you might as well give in. You’re a cha cha slide away from joining me on this dance floor.”

“You haven’t been staying after hours again, have you?” Manon raised an eyebrow at the other once they sat down in one of the meeting rooms. She then pushed a folder towards Electra. “We’ve got some new intel but I wouldn’t say it makes much difference. But at least it’s better than nothing.”

“Technically– but I do not get referred to that way on the regular, so I’m absolutely milking this moment,” Stella pointed out with another chuckle. “Are you an early bird or a night owl? Maybe we kept passing one another that way,” she suggested, knowing she had her favorite times of going in to get some art done. “That’s totally fine. You don’t need to have things compiled into a portfolio for them to be viewing-ready.”

“You’re hoping for a heat wave? Noted, I’ll know to send people your way when they start complaining about how hot it is. I’ll say you manifested it,” he teased. “Sure. Although I think I will be able to sit her for much less time than you can. I don’t want to burn.”
