Hi. Don't know if you remember me. I barely remember me. But, evidently, I'm back. Kinda. New blog though - if anyone is particularly interested, comment and I'll link you.

- Ukraine being invaded (I know a good deal of my fellow non-Ukrainians and non-EU people were massively emotionally devastated and distraught by that, too, I just had more emotional involvement in it than some I know of bc I have some very very close friends who are Ukrainian and had to flee their homes)

- my husband brought COVID home from his job at a medical office and we were both down for a week, but he got long COVID so he was down for nearly a month

- mental health shit with loved ones that was at an emergency room level of severity

- my dad, who I am extremely close with, died while living in Asia

- ... and more

And so now that it's autumn and the summer of pure hell is done, I took a trip to visit a friend that seems to have been a good mental reset for me.

It's already a week into October and I haven't decorated for Halloween yet, which usually happens for me in September. So yesterday afternoon and all of today I've devoted to subduing my wild yard. Once I've gotten everything cut back and pulled and bagged as compost, I'm going to finally decorate.

There have been an insane amount of little and big catastrophes on and on in that time and finally seeing NDdP, I hope, is the light at the end of the horror, hopefully bringing a few more small wins every day.

So uh guys, I know I haven't been on here in a long ass time, but it finally happened. I saw NDdP. I might write a more fleshed out review of it, but holy shit.
