Not a whole lot of analysis (we would be here until Dandy's World gets out of alpha) but you should get my vibe if you listen to them

Dyles POV:

A lot of songs I like being Dandyle are Dyle yearning for Dandy yet being unable to attain him, either by his own hesitance or Dandy being with somebody else

ESPECIALLY DAN THE DANCER. It should be Dyle the Dancer it's genuinely so them, so so so them

ANALYSIS

I like to think they'd be mutually jealous of each other. Dyle's jealousy is easier to see, he never got the chance to be on stage and be seen, appreciated, while Dandy is in that spotlight, he's always front and center, he IS the face of Gardenview. However, Dandy envies Dyle too. Dyle was never on the show, so he never had a prebuilt role or personality. Outside of his duty, he is allowed to develop his own personality, away from scrutiny and watching eyes. Dyle is allowed to exist as Dyle, not as a mascot, not as a character from a cartoon, Dyle is allowed to make the name what HE wants.

Dandy doesn't have that privilege, he has to stay as what the show and the founders have made him, even after it's long shut down. What is Dandy without being the show main character? He has nothing outside of it, and desperately clings to his show persona.

I also like to think they know each other best. Once Gardenview shut down and became what it is today, toons do avoid Dandy, they dislike him. Yet, Dyle still chooses to work with him. They know each other, their habits, mannerisms, and they know more than the other toons. It is likely that both Dandy and Dyle 'choose' to turn twisted, as ignoring Dandy leads to him becoming twisted, and Dyle has a short where he gains fangs and red-ish pupils.

They are also counterparts! Dyle is the gears of Gardenview, he keeps it alive and running, while Dandy is the face, he keeps things 'together' as best he can, they can't operate without the other, essentially.

(already said how much i love this art) BUT IT SHOWS MY POINT PERFECTLY!! THEY ARE INTERTWINED!!

Also I remember my bf telling me that Astro is Dandy's literal moon, but Dyle is his moon counterpart, the opposite of him

Opposites attract:

They are dire opposites, Dyle is all work, he must do this, he hates physical touch, everything is business and he doesn't have the luxury of friends, yet everybody still seems to like Dyle, like with Goob's hugs and how Yatta takes sweets from him.

Dandy is very airy and cheery, he can have fun and he wants friends, yet the toons dislike him, even Goob doesn't hug him anymore. They are written to be foils and I love that about them.

Contrast of natural (flower) vs man-made (pocket watch) too...

I also like flowers struggling to grow with moonlight but needing time to grow

If Flowerhour was doomed it would probably be Moonflower and Dyle watching from being, forever wanting to be in the spotlight, yet cast into the shadows.

MOTM FLOWERHOUR ANYLSIS TOO

Okay. I have three parts here: Self-indulgent Flowerhour, Realistic Flowerhour and if I'm being not bias at all and no flowerhour (worst outcome)

SELF-INDULGENT:

Astro and Dandy love each other in Motm this has been confirmed, but we are assuming they are in a QPP here, something loose and they love each other but they aren't dating

Dandy also very much cares for Dyle here, promising to fix him, and Dyle has been in massive pain up until now, only Dandy being able to calm him down (cmon, that's adorable) and Dandy even gifted him something for his train, despite knowing he likely wouldn't have passengers.

My indulgent flowerhour in Motm is that they are very much in love, but it is very secret, behind closed doors and invisible to almost everybody. They don't need to prove it to other people, a rare time that Dandy won't show off to the world. It's them and the walls alone who know their relationship.

SEMI-INDULGENT:

One sided flowerhour. Dyle pining after Dandy who is obviously in love with Astro. Dyle is just his assistant, Dandy is the Star of the Health department, Dyle is just the guy who runs the trains, what gives him the right to be with Dandy, so he just watches from the sidelines, admires him and envies Astro, daydreams about what they could be. But they stay dreams.

NO FLOWERHOUR BIAS:

They do care for each other deeply, but as close friends, not as something more.
