I'm a little obsessed with Perry Mason. Here's a list of things I've notice since my I've changed my "watch in bed 'til I pass out" show to Perry Mason- (which ousted "Law and Order SVU" which ousted "The Medium" and a long line of other things you would not watch when when fully awake. 1. Young Raymond Burr was kind of a hottie. 2. Paul is a perv. 3. Burger is a Republican 4. Tragg's hat is enormous 5. Mason, Street and Drake break the law at every opportunity. 6. Older is better The early eps, written by Erle Stanley Gardner are by far the best. They are very noir. Most episodes feature a femme fatale. And while you may or not be sure if she is a ruthless killer, you can be sure she is wearing a bullet bra. The later eps are very toned down and vanilla and boring but the early ones live up to this cool opening theme music.
