It is a modern zombie book (crazy ik right) and the main character is an older guy in his 60's that is heavily inspired off of Odysseus, Odysseus reincarnated if you will. And I had the idea of having his story basically be the Odyssey in reverse plot-wise. His wife has been gone for a bit and he starts his story after he loses his son (so starting where Ithaca ended, loses his wife and son instead of reuniting) and is going backwards down his journey for whatever reason. Have not figured out the end goal yet, but that's the gist of it. I'm thinking of having characters that are based off of or represent other Odyssey characters appear the way they would in the book/musical.
