She is a great character because she is so terrifying. She went after Garthe cause he would have her, but really she wanted Michael, who did NOT want anything to do with her. That human harassed Michael twice. And one time in a way that made my fucking neck hair stand up.

I don't want to get too into the implication of that scene in the cell but the fact that they kept it in is interesting to me.

Look, I'm literally more chill with both Garthe and KARR and any other KR villain then with HER. I HATE THAT WOMAN WITH SUCH A PASSION.

But I always had a question, did Garthe ever knew about Adrianne harassing Michael in that cell? Was he an accomplice or he just didn't care? Or he genuinely just didn't know?

Anyways, even though she's dead I hope she gets eaten but the damn Spinosaurus. I just can't stand her. Yk what? I hope the whole Jurassic Park/World dinosaurs go after her. From all the islands. Isla Nublar, Isla Sorna and Isla Hubert. I don't care. Just to show how much I like her. Say hi to the D-Rex mf, let's see if you're gonna harass Michael AND KITT again.

No cuz, Adrianne ALSO harassed KITT but not the same way she harassed Michael. Let me explain: both times (more clearly the second time) he witnessed via Michael's watch the harassment, meaning that also KITT is sort of a victim by hearing/listening the what happened.

And I even heard somewhere, maybe here on tumblr??, that the first time Michael was harassed, he even (desperately) asked for help to KITT via watch. LIKE WHAT. NAH BRO THAT WOMAN IS GONNA PAY.

There are also other women that made Michael uncomfortable certain times, like the Tigress woman (I think?? Idek her name in english sksks) getting too close towards Michael touching his shirt and seeing "inside" while he was also fliriting and stuff but (as I remember atleast) he wasn’t touching her nor disrespecting her boundaries ✌️😭 (from the last ep of s3 if I'm not wrong)

I also want to add that I don't really think the series never added actual depth on Michael’s character (maybe I'm too used to Arcane's complexity yk, but still), like for example in this case: Michael was literally harassed two times by the same woman, and sometimes women could overcome his boundaries and making him uncomfortable. Wouldn't he literally have certain trauma responses and flashbacks like an actual victim?! "But it's a 80s show, what do you expect?" EXACTLY, and that's what specifically hurts me the most. Not the fact that the show itself is objectively from a specific period of time, it's the mentality of that period of time. Always having the mentality that men are indestructible, physically and mentally, that always need to show themselves STRONG because of SOCIETY. And honestly? That also adds to Michael’s character, I'm pretty sure he never told anyone about the harassment (or his feelings AT ALL.) to anyone other than KITT (cuz he's literally a witness AND a victim too), also because it's often shown by his body language that not only he doesn't talk much about how he feels but also masks his emotions, like wearing sunglasses when he feels upset (or also when he feels guilty with something he didn't mean to mean to someone).

LIKE, DO YOU SEE?? FROM THE POST OF TALKING ABOUT ADRIANNE I WENT TALKING ABOUT MICHAEL'S CHARACTER AND THESE RANDOM AHH DETAILS THE SHOW IS NONCHALANT ABOUT. YOU CAN SENSE THE CHARACTER'S DEPTH EVEN WHEN THE SHOW DOESN'T SHOW IT CLEARLY. AND THERE ALSO SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO TALK ABOUT EVEN. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER HERE FOR GOD'S SAKE 😭 😭🙏🙏‼️‼️🥀🥀

But he is a prisoner (VIETNAM POW PTSD ANYONE????????) and has to try and be quiet with his escape from this. Get away from her. Get back to his safe bubble. Adrianne, imo, even if you watch Soul Survivor and Michael’s body language there (thank you Hoff…), he is not having her at all after that initial encounter. He is creeped the heck out. No no no.

So watch this scene with me, will you friends? Go pull it up. And if you don’t want to; very understandable but you’ll just have to trust me here.

Pay attention to that body language. Read into it. Listen to it. It speaks volumes.

Pretty sure the Hoff was as disgusted by this character as Michael was. Those glances are real, I swear.

Michael isn’t always a man whore, he has boundaries too. He doesn’t like creepy pushy women. Though I do not agree with the way Michael socializes, at least he has and respects others throughout the series. Whenever he has a problem with someone, whether that be a woman on himself, or a man on another woman, he only has that issue because they aren’t respecting the other party in any way, shape, or form.

Makes me now try and think about what response KITT defaults to, and how this makes him feel more human to us. (I’m at 5% battery so this is about to be hecca rushed)

I think, with little to no explanation here, that his response is a branch of the flight response. The divert response, I’d call it, but it’s a way of running away from his problems since he can’t physically run away from it. Headed towards the wall? Hit the breaks, avoid it, try to talk his way out of it. Start a fire, avoiding it. Going slower through the course, unsure of himself, yes, but also he’s avoiding what he’s afraid of, not fighting it. Ok well, I may rethink this later but this was a spur of the moment thought.
