All right, the robot felt real enough, and Bakura had seen machine monsters brought to life through magic before, playing cards with a bit too much soul in them, or something along those lines. Trying to verbalise it beyond that would be fruitless and so: he doesn’t verbalise it at all, simply nods to himself. So is this a machine monster or…
Oh! As if on cue, the machine spoke, with audible words. So no, not a machine monster, as even the most powerful are silent so what does that make him?
“No, I– ah,” he stammers in response, the mask that is the real Ryou Bakura slipping on over his face like an actor resuming an old long-running role. He could play ‘hapless, good-natured teenager,’ it’s never been a bad part to play. “I simply have never seen a robot like you before! Or a robot at all…”
Some would call Cybertonians monsters. Though they don’t look like it, their war which lasted 4 million years had destroyed their own home planet and caused great chaos throughout the universe. Many other planets and many different innocents became victims of this slaughter. So really, even if Rodimus wasn’t part of this magical card game, wasn’t he still a monster?
He himself rather wouldn’t answer to something like that.
This human seemed to be on the awkward side, considering this was something entirely new to him. Rodimus smiled somewhat, his optics dimming ever so slightly. This was a clean canvas alright. If he would be the first mech that this boy ever saw, he better make a good impression.
“So I’m the first one then! I see, it’s fine! I’m Rodimus, what’s your name?”
