Hello Journal! 

I’m currently writing this in Frostgorge Sound at a Vigil camp where I’m staying with Maaru. Isendil was with us as well, but he seemed.. Uncomfortable. I’m not sure if its something I had said or if Maaru said something. But, I know one thing for sure, Maaru’s up to something. We had a good talk about well.. A lot of things. She said she was going to do something ‘good for my heart’, and came back with Isendil. I’m not really sure what that means. 

Well, moving on! We’re collecting samples out here to see if they could help against the Rot in any way, but from what it seems so far, its not going to do much.. I’m not sure where else to look at this point, but I wont give up! Friends do the right thing and keep fighting.. Right? 

Well, today’s song is one that my friend Imogen showed me. She said I’d learn to understand it, when I understood myself. I think I’m starting to get it, but I’m not sure. 

Well, unless I want to spill my heart out onto the page, I think I’m done for now. Some things are just better left unsaid.

Hello Journal! 

Well, there’s certainly a lot I could catch you up on. First, a friend of mine, Dezigrar seems to have lost her memories. I’m not sure how but.. She’s a different person now. She doesn’t seem to want to be her old self, either. But, what seems fishy to me is that she was the Researcher who was working to combat the Rot. It seems a bit... Odd to me. 

Next, I well.. I went to Orr. Even after all this time, it’s still a difficult place for me. But, I had good friends with me! They kept me safe, and I even got to learn I have a lot more in common with a friend than I originally thought. We all made it home safe and unharmed! 

Today’s song, well.. It’s one of my favorites! Maeve use to sing it to me all the time.. But, it wasn’t till recently when I understood its lyrics. Maybe, you really dont hear the meaning of a song, until something changes the way you hear it. 

Anyway, it’s been a good day so far, aside from paperwork! I hope to see some of my friends today and see some progress get done. Just, making people smile. The usual.

Hello! Well, this is my second entry! Today, I’d like to talk about a few things. First, I had a young man ‘sing’ and play ‘music’ for my friend Faith and I, but.. I didn’t hear anything. It was quite awkward! Next, I moved in with my friend Faith today! She lives out in Kessex Hills, so it’s a little ways away from the city, but its lovely for scenery! I think I’m really going to like living out there! 

Today’s music is Asura sounding! Lots of beeps and boops! 

But, I chose it for a reason. I’ve recently found myself quite attached to someone. I’ve.. I’ve known him for a while, but I never really realized it before! I wish I could say his name, but I’m afraid there’s still people that might be after him. Oh! Wait, this is a journal and I’m the only one reading what I write... Well! I still don’t wanna list it, just incase. I never realized before, how someone you barely know can make you worry so very much. But, I would hope one day, he’d listen to this song and hear the same things I do! 

But for now, I’ve gotta finish unpacking at Faiths.

Hello Diary! 

Well, this is my first entry here! But I thought it would be good to keep track of things now that I have so much time on my hands! 

First off, My name is Eithyne! I’m a five year old Sylvari who awakened at the cycle of Dawn! I have someone I consider to be a father, his name is Dudly, and someone I considered to be a mother! ( Other then the Pale Mother of course!) Her name is Maaru. I have a lot of friends who I do all I can to help and protect, even though I’m a terrible fighter. But! That’s what Brick and Spooky are for, right? I’m a Chief Mender at the Vanguard Hospital in the Salma district of Divinity’s Reach! I know its odd for a Sylvari to live in a human city, but it’s wonderful! I get to meet so many people, and help them too! 

I plan for each day, for me to come in here and write down what I’ve learned, or just something interesting about my day! 

Today I learned about Weddings! My friend Maaru is getting married soon! I didn’t really know what that entailed until Dezigrar told us about it. It sounds so lovely! I wonder if I could make a Sylvari wedding! But that still sounds a little odd. Oh well! I learned that the bride wears a white dress, and she has people called Bridesmaids! I hope I get to be one! I wonder if I get to wear a dress too.. Oops! I forgot a question then! 

Anyway! I meant to make these short, but I think sometimes my mind gets ahead of me. Like while I was writing about the wedding stuff, I was thinking of ways to make a sand angel in Dry Top. ...I really wanna try it.
