Can someone tell me why Noah Schnapp can't shut the fuck up for a second? You can't speak for other actors about what their characters would or wouldn't do. The way he keeps fueling this nonsense is just too irritating. I hate to say it, but Mike wouldn't explore anything with William Byers. IF Mike even questioned his sexuality and tried anything with some guy (or anyone), it would be the most depressing relationship in the world because he would never commit to anyone else, and at the slightest chance of seeing El again, he would dump that person in the blink of an eye

There are no words to describe the rage I feel when i see those sons of bitches compare Mike to Brenner and now to Henry. And the fact that those idiots always manage to get attention from a bunch of other mentally ill people is insane, i need all of them GONE
I started posting things on this account again because of Mileven, but I genuinely love Mike's character outside of the couple. I say this because there's a lot of discussion about "characters who don't have a fandom outside of shipping," and I see people including Mike in that, and I just think that, back in 2016, I only started watching Stranger Things because of him, lol. I really liked how his character was presented to the public as the one who's kind of the fav friend? Like, that one person that everyone wants to be bff with, the way that he always tried to make his friends feel comfortable and confident about who they are even though he doesn't feel that way about himself. I loved how he is very friendly and sympathetic person, when he tried to help her in s1 even though she said she could bring danger to him, or how he took care of Will in s2 and etc.
Although I liked Mileven in season 3, I'm having a hard time liking how Mike's character was written this season because I feel like some of those characteristics were forgotten or focused on only a very few characters. I think the Duffers weren't lying when they wanted to solidify Mike as the "heart of the group," but they forgot to develop that side of the character for the sake of mileven/Will's development. In short, there's a lot to say about how Mike's character potential was wasted by the Duffers' incompetence in writing a good story and properly developing their characters, especially the main ones.

I was discussing season 3 with other Mileven fans and I just realized that in the "Blanks Makes You Crazy" scene, Mike wasn't apologizing for the lie, but rather about the comment in the basement about girls being a different species. I don't know why I never noticed this before, since that line was brought up twice: first when he admitted to El that he lied because of Hopper, and second when he tried to get close to her again in the hospital. I think other people haven't realized this either, since there's still this argument about his unfortunate comment (which was truly awful), but they haven't noticed that he apologized to them, not bc of the lie which he really shouldn't apologize for since he wasn't to blame for that, but hopper should be the one who should apologize to mike but since the script for s3 was against mike, he became like the scumbag of the season 😮💨
I think we shouldn't overlook the fact that Mileven has already played dnd together (I'm not sure how canon the comics are, but I know they're official, so...)
It's exhausting being a fan of Mike/Mileven in the Stranger Things fandom and really wanting to be active in the community. It's very stressful constantly dealing, AGAIN, with that fandom that can't accept that they misinterpreted the show and just ship their bland ship like anyone else would, but no, we have to deal with countless threads made by them about how Mike 1- harassed Eleven in season 1 because of that kiss 2- that Mileven is incestuous because of an interpretation literally pulled out of thin air about El wearing Nancy's old dress 3- about how Mike secretly hates Eleven and cheats on her with *checking notes* William Byers....
I understand why a large part of the Milevens shippers are no longer part of the fandom and have moved on to something else after the show ended, but it's sad how those who remain can't even be left in peace to enjoy the little that was given to us. I don't know, being part of fandoms and consuming media is always fun, but when it becomes more stressful than relaxing, then it's time to let go

Being a Mileven & Mike stan in the ST fandom these days is a difficult position because on one side you have people who actively hate him, calling him a groomer, toxic, a terrible friend, etc., and on the other side you have people who "like" him but completely based on an interpretation that invalidates a large part of his character. Because how can there still be people who think Mike is gay? Don't you understand that his ROMANTIC love for Eleven is, if not the most central part of his character, and you go and ignore and invalidate that completely? Some people have to wonder if they are truly apologists for the canon Mike or the made up one.
Every time I see someone associate Eleven with "the magic of childhood", "manic pixie dream girl," or "conformity," I feel like shooting myself in the head

On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
