For so long, he had yearned to feel the touch of another, one of love and passion, for all he had ever known was scorn and hate. He wants so desperately to chase the high and hold it close, yet there is that lingering fear that it will be short lived. He is sure that this will be a fleeting affair, forgotten by the morning as they move on with their lives.

Her words give him pause as he reaches out with a calloused hand to caress her face, her eyes looking upon him with such love and adoration that he begins to wonder if all of this is merely a dream. Does he dare get his hopes up that whatever this is between them can be something more?

"What do you want, then?" he asks softly. "What do you wish...from me?"

A soft, shaky sigh escapes him, tingles running along his spine as he arches into each and every touch, craving more. He catches his breath as he meets her gaze, deep blue eyes drinking her in as he lifts a hand to caress her face. A soft laugh slips from his lips.

"I should be telling you that..." Calloused fingers run along her jawline, gently brushing a thumb over soft lips. "By the Founder, you are beautiful."
