"The Mental Traveler". After a few weeks off, I have a new t-shirt design to vote on in the Shirt.Woot "Vacation" derby! “Infinite Infinity.” There’s an absurd amount of popping going on with the cultures right now, so a “Pop Culture” derby theme at Shirt.Woot just seemed gratuitous. “Calypsonian Monkey Business.” Oh, what’s this? A sudden Shirt.Woot derby submission. It’s been a bit of a dry spell since I’ve felt creative, but the idea struck -- so I dusted off Illustrator and had some fun. Belafonte kept me company. A year. It’s been almost ONE YEAR since I started this series and I, regretfully, abandoned it. But, no longer. Finally continuing my summer-inspired Battleborn Creamery Series, we have Mikollopria representing the artisanal, small-batch, locally-sourced nature of the Eldrid. “We Are Delicious!“

“D20-inspired Goblin Faces.” Hiatus, thy time is over! I mocked these up as a concept for a tabletop gaming-related business, but they weren’t the right fit! However, another partner of mine has appropriated them for October shenanigans, so stay tuned to see where they end up!

“Feline Origami.” I made this in 2012 for Valentine’s Day, but I was always a bit unsatisfied with it. So I tweaked it today -- removing what were originally stylized drop shadows and replacing them with cleaner lines. I filled in the little flower, too, with a color that wasn’t the same as the background ... so it stopped looking like the poor cat was missing his lower half. Not perfect, but better.

“The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow.” I did this to cheer up a friend who had (at the time) expressed their struggles on Facebook, but I now use it to cheer myself up, too. The face on the left is a bit janky, but I love the guy on the right. In honor of the eclipse, I say!

"The Hero We Deserve". This is such a goofy little design for a one-off Shirt.Woot coffee mug derby. A lot of the text was lazy, but I adore his little gold adornments and muscles.

"Cutie-Patootie Octo-Pi!" Another non-winning Shirt-Woot derby entry. I wasn’t the only one with this idea, and the other renditions simply out-classed me. But I made a ton of progress in terms of technique during this project, so it was worth the time spent.

Krieg from Borderlands 2! “Nipple salads.” Classic. I made this for a casual Twitter design competition several years ago.
