What ever Happened to Angelic Pretty's polka dots? (prt 1) (2003-2006) A timeline of their polka dots
Something I notice with Angelic Pretty's releases is the shift of solid patterns and prints. I don't really mean any of their original prints or designs but their more generic prints like stripes and stuff like that. ***
Ill be looking at the solid/solid-like releases all the way from super to now and see what i can gather from all this
PS There might be some print-ish stuff but i see it as a print on a polka-dot fabric not an original print like Cherry Berry Bunny which happens to have polka-dots

I think Candy-Chan's first appearance is in 2005 with these two cuts simply named Candy-Chan Skirt and Candy-Chan JSK

Again I want to reiterate that to me, polka-dots mean the fabric, so no polka-dots in an original print count, and prints printed onto polka-dot fabric count

From 2003 - 2006 there were 26 polka dot items released by AP! I may have missed some so let me know so i can try to mention them. since tumblr has a picture limit ill make a part 2 for more and who knows, maybe more parts From what I can gather though, 2006 is where polka dots began its reign.
