If we cannot feel it, who’s to say it's not air?

first the poem by 10 props to them 

“Mouthless words stolen yet sweet 

And gentle beds of snowy fields 

The quiet touch of ink on skin 

Glittering rush to compete 

 Challenges from a warm overcast 

Innate being thought and memory 

Born of a river of stars and ice 

Comes bliss not meant to last 

 Leather books of what was told 

Stories and fairytales of wisdom 

Yet secrets and lies built it all 

Unworthy of what was sold

 Comes the dusk and nightfall fire 

Cloudless evenings evermore 

Time ticks on so indifferently 

Undisturbed by the funeral pyre 

 Burn the book and its lies away 

Drown memories in inky wombs 

Of frozen twilight it all is lost and left 

To become red sky at break of day“

the first stanza is describing egg. why? because title of the poem is about egg possibly. the 2nd line matches up with the snow that followed egg close in another poem. glittering rush to compete=game? 

 second stanza is partially egg description partially game description. the first line of that stanza describes the game, which is why. challenges was used. egg might be the warm overcast, which hints at the title again cuz it means 'bird of the air.' the 2nd and 3rd stanza line describe egg, specifically how 10 first met them and possibly what egg knew then. 4th line describes that the cycle/game ends 

third stanza corresponds with the leather book from Quid Te Furati Sunt. egg presumably had involvement in the book 

fourth stanza marks the end of a cycle, possibly 10s, cuz night and dusk are words that often are symbolically used to mark an end. thank you mrs hendrick for teaching me that. if egg is the overcast from stanza two, then the cloudless evenings also means egg is gone and the cycle is over. funeral pyre could also imply the death of 10 or with what i got from the fifth stanza. a mental death 

first, the poem (credit to ten, who wrote it):

“All but a pawn in a game of time And the chessmaster as well Manipulated manipulator Ever lively yet an empty shell

Pawns are used and tossed away Or become needed rooks and knights Chessmaster still has a use for them But use for themself in daylight?

From blood of pawns stands a queen Cut free from the chessmaster’s strings Of her own will and wants she stands tall And stands just as powerful as all things

The queen stands as the chessmaster now A will of her own and cutting her army free The queen regarded as a chessmaster devil And to all is known who the devil be”

First things first, the queen is clearly representative of ten, the comparisons to ‘the devil’ make that fairly clear(as in the crow counting rhyme, ten crows represent the devil). This is interesting, as it implies ten somehow broke the rules in some case. There is a theory that I have(i might make a different post about this later) that we’re not supposed to die at all (but ten has stated that they’re a ghost) and so it might be that ten broke the rules by dying?

Another thing to note is the comparison between the game and chess, as it has some odd implications. If we’re assuming the chessmaster is egg, then they might be somehow controlling us with the game? The biggest questions I have about that are ‘who’s on the other side of the chessboard?’ and ‘what pieces are we.’

For what pieces are we, I have some ideas, but I’m not certain. I think seven’s the king, the most valuable piece and yet the least useful (no offense.), as they seem to know a lot, but tell the rest of us basically nothing. I think eight and nine might be knights, I don’t have good reasoning for this, but it feels right. Me and one are probably pawns, as our gifts are not all that useful as far as I can tell. The others I’m not sure about.

Ten is mysterious, and even more cryptic than egg. So I thought I’d make some speculation here. (other numbers feel free to add your own theories.)

-Might be one of the players from the first cycle, considering their calling Egg ‘Vorona’ (which egg has said was their ‘first name’)

-Seems to have quite a bit of control over the Mx-Mirage blog.

I think I have found a way to tell the difference between posts by egg and posts by 10 (as 10 seems to have a lot of control over the blog)

10 refers to the corvids as “our game”, while Egg/Vorona usually calls it “the game”
