Phatsa is suddenly getting all the extra care and devotion, particularly from Nakhun, and he thinks it's a sign of real affection, but is going to find out it's not because of how much Nakhun loves him, but because he is believed to be a vessel for someone else. No one is even talking to him about what they suspect, despite the obvious fact he is still oblivious to so much of what their culture and biology includes. Every cares so much about how he is feeling, but no one cares how he feels. Nakhun knows how much Phatsa still feels trapped by their "fated" bond, and yet the moment he gets what he really wants, is entirely focused on his own happiness.
