The change in photo post formats doesn't seem to work with my blog's theme—Which I am still absolutely in love with and I really don't want to change it. Making manual adjustments to try and have new photo posts show up the same way as old ones is probably something I can do, but it'd be a lot of work and I don't like editing other people's code, and coding from scratch is a long and involved process that I'm not prepared to start at this time. I'm also not sure if this means I'd need to go back and reupload all my older photos to have them show in the newer photo format.
It also doesn't help that editing posts using HTML (so I can hyperlink to relevant narrowed collections on my blog) has no helpful colour displays like it used to. When you're someone with dyspraxia, viewing code like that (and unbroken walls of text is a similar issue) can be challenging.
On top of having no control over the order in which photos appear on my blog after the fact (I can't go back and slot older photos between older posts like I can on Flickr, haha), it's really disillusioning me from wanting to continue maintaining this blog. I'll leave it, and what I've uploaded so far, here just in case I do want to return to it, but for now I do just want to leave it be until I feel more positive about it.
I still really appreciate the feedback and likes and reblogs and stuff, thank you for that ♥
And you can still see my work on flickr—It's a shame there's not much in the way of a custom theme on flickr, that'd be wonderful! I'm still happy with how flickr works with terms of uploading and arranging my photography though, you can also choose to sort my uploads via date taken or date uploaded if you prefer as well.
