BREAKDOWN
Wow, this is Taylor giving a master class in the positive side of passive-aggressiveness. Â She played this perfectly.
When you overhear someone talking negative about you, whether its light joking or serious shit-talk, you can opt to ignore, confront, or passively-aggressively make it clear that youâre aware of what they said WITHOUT acknowledging that theyâve offended you. Â Â
The latter puts ALL of the awkwardness on the other personâs side. Â You can even read Taylorâs tweet here in her disappointed hurt voice, and it makes you feel awkward.
I say passive-aggressively, because Taylor saw her name mentioned here, and only acknowledged that and not the context of their conversation. Â Iâm sure Taylorâs compliment to the Chef was legitimate.
You can see by the Chefâs reaction that thereâs some effusiveness there in her compliments, often caused by being awkward. Â Â
I love the way she can make someone feel so awkward and terrible⌠Oh girl is so wonderful at it đđ
