I saw a comment recently accusing one of my character designs of being “NFT bullshit” and saying they would just download the image instead of buying it.

Let me be absolutely clear:

I do not sell NFTs. I have never sold NFTs. I have no interest in NFTs.

What I do sell is my work as an illustrator and designer. When you buy a design from me, you're not buying a crypto token. You’re paying for the time, effort, and creativity I put into creating a character. You’re buying the right to personally use and own that design, not just an image file.

I work hard on my art. Dismissing that effort with a careless comment like “I’ll just download it” is disrespectful, not just to me, but to all independent artists who make a living from their skills.

Don’t get me wrong, you’re completely free to download or save my art if you like it! I genuinely appreciate it when someone connects with my work enough to want to keep it. That makes me happy.

But if you don’t want to buy art, that’s fine, just please don’t spread misinformation or devalue the work that goes into it.
