The Vulpera are a vulpine race of humanoids that live within the desert of Vol'dun on the continent of Zandalar. Their appearance is taken after the diminutive desert fox, with large fox ears and small bodies. There enemies are the sethrak.

Kul Tiras is a human nation built on an island once located south-west of Lordaeron and west of Khaz Modan. During the Cataclysm, the island was shifted out to sea by shifting tectonic plates: both the land's and the city's current whereabouts are unknown.

The Zandalari were one of the earliest known trolls. The early trolls, who revered and worshiped the Wild Gods, gathered around a sacred mountain range in southern Kalimdor, where many of the loa dwelled. Calling the mountain range Zandalar, the lesser tribes built small encampments upon its slopes, but the most powerful tribe, the Zandalari, claimed its highest plateaus and peaks. There, the Zandalari built a cluster of crude shrines that in time grew into the bustling temple city of Zuldazar.
