Edward Scissorhands is the type of person wo say "goodbye" and then Kim is like "no, it's goodnight, we'll see each other in the morning" and Edward is like "Ok. Goodbye."

Just watched Edward Scissorhands and to me the leather suit isn't a suit and instead his SKIN. Like he's unfinished. That's his skin. To me he's kind of robotic but also flesh and blood.

I've thought this for years. Yes, in real life, it was a suit that Johnny wore over top of whatever he had on underneath, but in the movie, I think the only part of him that's flesh and blood is his head and his face. The rest is either synthetic or mechanical. But that's just my personal headcannon, of course.
