Eduardo Castillo. Artista visual originario de Sonora (1982), vivo en San Luis Potosi, México , soy Lic. en Artes Plasticas. Actualmente mi trabajo se desarrolla en la disciplina de la grafica, obra que habla de pasajes y recuerdos de mi infancia aludiendo a lo sexual desde un punto de vista soez e irreverente. Utilizando marcadores permanentes, tintas y acrílico sobre polipap, genero personajes fantásticos, irreverentes y grotescos. Personajes inspirados en caricaturas americanas de los años 50´s descontextualizados que me permiten asociar lo ingenuo e inocente (infancia) a lo perverso y sexual (adultez), provocando en el espectador reacciones como espanto risa o morbo.

INTERNAL LANDSCAPES WORK EDUARDO CASTILLO Drawings in India ink, watercolor, acrylic on cotton paper exploring the different personalities portrayed, drawings become a kind of mental maps that help me decipher his past, thus creating a space for reflection that allows me understand more clearly the influence of these characters in my life and how I have been transformed from contact with it either physical or emotional cohabitation or mere admiration for the character (person).

PAISAJES INTERNOS OBRA DE EDUARDO CASTILLO Dibujos realizados con tinta china, acuarela, acrílico, sobre papel de algodón que exploran las distintas personalidades del retratado, dibujos que se convierten en una especie de mapas mentales, que me ayudan a descifrar su pasado, generando así un espacio de reflexión que me permite entender de manera más clara la influencia de estos personajes en mi vida y como me he ido transformando a partir de el contacto con ello ya sea por convivencia física o emocional o por mera admiración sobre el personaje (persona).
