“Because you’re the only other person in this damn town I can actually hold a violent conversation with. Simple.”

The blonde rolled her eyes, “Excuses, excuses. Why don’t you find another person to go play with and annoy?”

“Isn’t that your attitude to everyone?” he asked, stretching as he yawned. “You gotta work on your threats.”

Yes, but she was going to punch his lights out especially hard today. “Why won’t you ever leave me the fuck alone scraggly man??”

“Obviously. And men pay to see those?”

“Technically..” she agreed with a shrug. It was more so a transaction of her picking things from their pockets. Sometimes when they were alive, sometimes when they were dead.

“Eloquent as always.”

Edie rolled her eyes and lifted her shift for a quick flash ”I’m classy too, fuckwit.”

“Your brain is so small they needed a decent sized container to keep it in without losing it.”

“Right next to your severed head.”

“Cute,” she smirked, “Makes sense they’d want my whole head, and only your eyes.”

“You keep mentioning my eyes. Particular reason?”

The blonde shrugged, “They’re pretty..” she smirked.

“‘Hot’ is subjective. I would say ‘decent’.” He replied, “This is how I am. You thoughts of that as reaper-esque are irrelevant.”

“Well you’re opinion on me being ‘decent’ is irrelevant, blue eyes,” she smiled through gritted teeth.

“You still appear to have no shortage of misplaced self confidence. Why?”

“Because I’m young, I’m hot..” she smirked, “You still have no shortage of dreary grim reaper-ness Robby baby. Why?”

He rolled his eyes at her. “Wonderful, you.”

“I am wonderful,” she smirked. “I’m fucking great, actually.”

“Is there a purpose to you being here or can I continue with my day?”

“Oh by all means blue eyes,” the girl smirked as she slung herself into a seat. “Continue.”

  “Likewise. Hopefully, I’ll be able to put this encounter behind me and forget that I saw the face that turns milk sour.”

“I seems your insults have run out. Pity.”

Edie turned on her heel and shrugged, 

“I hope they find one. You certainly aren’t enough.”

Edie smirked, “Whatever, you old bag of bones,”

“And I take it you could get a man’s moving if you put in enough effort.”

The girl leaned in closer and flashed him a toothy, insincerely sweet smile, “The only effort I need to put in is walking into a room..” she murmured.
