Recently wizards of the coast has recently formed a partnership with Amazon to sell box’s and product directly from Amazon

This seemingly shouldn’t be a problem right? I mean we can buy MTG product from Amazon already. Correct but it’s not directly from Amazon it’s from thousands of LGS across the nation trying to make a living to support the game we know and love.

The problem is these LGS can’t compete with Amazons prices, almost no LGS in the world can go toe to toe with Amazon. Wizards has claimed this is to help expand the game we love but non of that will matter if we have no where to play. No where to meet new people in the game no where to come after a long hard week to relax and enjoy the game you love.

So over the past day I’ve had a lot of people asking me about prints on that Constellation piece. 

I set that up on RedBubble and ordered a couple test prints, hopefully they’ll be here in the next few days! Once they get here I’ll make a post showing off the quality.

@badatcommander‘s Golgari Mass Sacrifice Package - $17.33

Hey folks! A while ago, we did a sac package for Meren. Well, our friend @badatcommander sent us their take on it. These cards are made to maximize Mazirek’s ability. Since we’re playing Golgari, we don’t really care about losing creatures because we can get them back easily.

It That Betrays - $3.19 An 11/11 for 12 may seem pricey, but remember that you’re playing Green here. Mana shouldn’t be an issue. The great thing about this is anything your opponent sacs, you get on your board to be fuel for more sac outlets.

Wave of Vitriol - $0.36 This serves as a board wipe and a good chunk of counters for all your creatures.

Death Cloud - $2.09 What’s great about this is it’s scaleable, but you will always get 2 times the number of players in counters for each mana you pay for X.

Natural Balance - $1.07 This card works great as a group hug/leveler. The people who are mana screwed immediately get 5 lands, but those who ramped way ahead of everyone get reigned back into check.

Pox - $2.39 This card should be getting at minimum one creature and one land per player. It also shortens the game by taking a third of everyone’s life, which means you might be able to get another game in because of this one card.

Tainted Aether - $3.41 Problems with token decks? Mono-Green player always out-ramping and winning because they can beatdown first? Play this and it will keep everyone in check.

Dictate of Erebos - $4.50 A “budget” Grave Pact, but just as good. Leave mana open to bluff your opponents, then flash this in on your opponent’s end step.

Smallpox - $0.32 You need to be reading this as “put 2 times X +1/+1 counters on creatures you control where X is the number of players in the game”.

Wow, so, the amount of feedback I’ve gotten on that constellation piece has been awesome, thank you guys! Kinda just figured I’d drop a quick hello and introduction.

My name is Ash and I’m 23 years old. I’m working toward a career in concept art or as an illustrator. I love both so I’ll really take either of the two. I really like video games and would love to work in the industry one day. For now I’m working a part time retail job working full time hours, so art can be a little slow from me at times. Looking for a new job so it won’t be that way for too much longer.

I’m starting up a series of drawings focused around each of the moon phases

Eating Chinese food, watching Bollywood movies, going to see Cambodian dancers, or learning to speak Korean so you can watch every K drama in existence is totally fine. The invitation to participate in those things came from within those cultures. The Mexican family that owns the place where I get fajitas wants me to eat fajitas. Their whole business model kind of depends on it, actually. 

If you see something from another culture you think you might want to participate in, but you don’t know if that would be disrespectful or appropriative, you can just…ask. Like. A Jewish friend explained what a mezuzah was to me, recently. (It’s the little scroll-thing near their front doors that they touch when they come into their house. It basically means “this is a Jewish household.”)

“Oh, cool,” I said. “Can I touch it? Or is it only for Jewish people?”

“You can touch it or you can not touch it,” she said. “I don’t care.”

“Cool, I’m gonna touch it, then.”

“Cool.”
