a/n: I’m still confused if general HCs mean not with S/O or if it does- or if it’s romantic HCs thats with the S/O… but this is just some hcs about what theey’re like in a relationship

I did a drabble with this here- he likes pestering you with his cane. he can poke you from afar and you’ll know it’s him right away because he’s wearing this shit-eating grin. he’s shameless about it, he wants you to know it’s him because he likes annoying you. but he also uses his cane for sweet things like balancing a cup on it to hand to you, or holding a rose in it and reaching it over to you

it almost seems like he’s shy because he doesn’t initiate much, in public mostly. but he watches you with this shy longing smile. 

he’s not the most PDA-friendly, if you’re really affectionate he’ll give you a nudge or softly whisper for you to tone it down. he’s fine with holding hands, hugs, cheek kisses, just the simple things.

in private he likes to keep you practically wrapped around him, he keeps you in his lap no matter what.

when your off on an island he tends to keep your close, or even subconsciously follow you around. he’s really quiet most of the time but he gets. a bit more talkative with you and will start talking about almost every single detail about the island. on the ship(s) he almost the opposite, he’ll look for you occasionally to make sure you’re okay- but other than that he stays wherever he is and you usually have to go to him.

he loves back hugs, giving and receiving. that’s another form of PDA that he’s fine with. it’s very common to feel his lanky arms wrap around your waist and he places his chin on the top of your head- then the two of you will walk around the ship like that. 

he’s fairly protective, he keeps an arm around you in dangerous situations and won’t let go until there’s no longer a threat

he’ll hypnotize people to give you things, like if they have something you want and Laffitte caught you eyeing it- or getting a resturant owner to give you free meals, only the best.

he doesn’t get jealous easily and when he does he simply disposes of whoever is causing it. killing, hypnotizing, whatever gets the job done. he was exiled for being overly violent, so obviously he’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty for his S/O.

he doesn’t have experience. he likes the whole idea of true love, love at first sight- the whole fate/destiny aspect of it and he definitely believes in love at first sight. but he still tends to think with his brain, he kind of views finding true love as like a “mini quest”, like if it happens yay he doesn’t have to think about that anymore. he won’t know what to do and he won’t really know if he has to do anything, you have to introduce him to love languages and relationship things. he knows the basic basics like date, kiss, comfort hug, protect- like a robot

he’s more of an observer- he won’t really stick close to you or follow you around, but he’ll always have you in his sights. he keeps his eyes on you more than Teech, and he’s well aware of that- but your safety comes first. he doesn’t let you catch him watching you, he sees when you’re about to turn your head/look in his direction and he turns his head away.

similar to Laffitte he’s not the biggest fan of PDA and he’s not afraid to push you away if you get too touchy. he likes holding hands- he lives for holding your hand- or having you hold onto his sleeve/cape. it comforts him knowing that you’re right there; he’ll often tell you to hold on to his cape when you’re leaving the ship. 

in private he won’t initiate much except a short hug, but he won’t push you away if you try to show him affection. he’ll act like it doesn’t mean anything but if you look at him you can catch the ghost of a smile on his face. sleep on his lap and his eyes won’t leave you for anything.

there’s lots of deep conversations, at night in bed, on deck, on the roof of a house at twilight. he likes talking about fate and dreams with you, hearing what you dream about and your opinions on fate/destiny. 

he likes teaching you about the “reading fate through birds’ flight patterns” even if you. don’t understand any of it he’d like it if you just listen. there’s also a lot of comfortable silence moments. oh and he tries to show you how to use Senriku (his gun) and it either ends in some “good job” from him or with him taking the gun away suddenly worried you’ll hurt yourself.

stare at him like he’s the sun moon and stars and he will blush. crimson.

he shows a lot of his affection through words, poetry, or just literally bluntness. “you’re everything to me” “I feel happy” “tell me you love me”

he gets jealous and he knows when/how, he’ll watch you converse with someone else and if they happen to make eye contact with him, Van Augur give him like a death glare that scares them off- and his gun is quite threatening so. he’ll hold it to someone’s head if he has to. and one of the easiest ways to get rid of the suitor, sitting on a roof nearby and shamelessly openly aiming at whoever you’re talking to.
