Biography:
Edward William Fitzgerald grew up in a nice little house in the middle of the suburbs of Rift Valley.
Before Edward was even born his father had big plans for his son, having always wanted to follow his own dream of becoming a star football player but never being allowed to, he was determined to live out his dream through his first born.
Edward's earliest memories are of being out in the backyard with his dad kicking a ball around, and if he wasn't outside, he'd be indoors with his dad watching old vhs tapes of classic games.
Fortunately as the years went on it turned out that Edward did have a real talent for the game, and practically any other sport he attempted, not that Edward felt he had any other choice but to be good, even from a young age he was always worried how his dad would react if he played a bad game.
When the time to start high school came around Eddy found himself once again being pushed to join all the teams he was allowed to apply for, football, lacrosse, even the swim team, and his dad was at every game cheering his son on and attending a few of Eddy's practices, just to make sure the coaches were pushing his son enough.
As the years went by Eddy's focus shifted to just football and he was quickly becoming Ashford High's star player. With stardom came popularity, and with popularity, came parties.
Eddy's main love soon shifted from football to alcohol and everything else that came with the party boy lifestyle. He managed to keep a good balance though and most importantly, his dad never clocked on that he wasn't actually going out late at night to practice.
Always wanting to stand out amongst the rest Eddy garnered a reputation for being a bit of a wild card at these parties, he was always making a spectacle of himself, and was known for doing crazy shit at whichever party he ended up at.
There was no dare he wouldn't do, no drink he wouldn't drink, and no bet he wasn't always determined to win, no matter what the consequences.
So naturally one drunken late night at the bar when someone dared him to steal a bike from a rift rider and ride it away, Edward just couldn't pass it up.
Unfortunately for Eddy though, he was far more drunk than he had first anticipated, and since he had never driven a motorbike in his life, it didn't take long for things to go terrible wrong. The last thing he remembers is the sound of police sirens as he laid across the road, screaming in pain.
Everything was a bit of a blur after that, Eddy only really remembers waking up in the hospital almost a day later, leg in a cast and his dad sat at the end of his bed, unable to look at his son through pure disappointment and anger.
He went back to school a few weeks later, but was never able to play the same again. Even when he tried to fight through the constant pain it was never too long before his coach would sub him out, just out of pity.
So Eddy wallowed in his own self pity for a couple of months, drowning his sorrows with vodka, whiskey, and whatever alcohol he could get his hands on with his shitty fake ID.
With the football scholarship he had always been pretty much promised no longer a reality, Eddy didn't have much options when leaving school but to get a job in town. He started working as a PT at the local gym, he practically lived there so thought he may as well get paid to go, and when wasn't quite enough to finance his lifestyle, he looked for other work.
His search for another job lead him down a few different avenues, but none that really fit with what Eddy was looking for, until, one night at the bar, he was made an offer he just couldn't refuse.
All he had to do, was go to an address, and collect some money. Edward was a little slow, but he wasn't that dumb, he knew who was asking, and what that meant, but he was desperate, and determined not to disappoint.
Eventually Eddy started to enjoy his job working for the mob. It was hard at first, but it didn't take long for Edward to find his feet, learning all he needs to know about what is really going on in this quiet little town.
Other Stuff(Head Canons):
Edward doesn't speak to his father much at no fault of his own. He can still feel the disappointment on his fathers face whenever he's home, and knows their relationship will never be the same, thankfully his dad doesn't know about Eddy's other job, and hopefully never will.
He's secretly a bit of a hopeless romantic, he has all the usual apps and is constantly going on dates, though not many get past the first. He's had a couple of relationships in the past too, but Edward has a bad habit of cheating or getting bored and ending things.
His parents gifted him a refurbished 70s Mustang when he was seventeen and it's his baby. It breaks down constantly but he could never see himself parting with it.
Eddy likes to think that his impressive height and brooding demeanour is the reason he's so good at what he does and why some people are 'intimidated' by him, but anybody who knows him well enough knows he's actually a bit of a softie.
Has a reputation for getting into bar fights, it's a bad habit that he just can't kick and it has gotten him into some serious trouble in the past, but there's zero chance he's ever going to stop.
He's become a little bored in his job at the gym and only really does it for the free gym membership, he's an affective PT but is known to be extremely blunt and overly honest with his clients.
He loves movies. When he was indoors for a couple of months after his injury he binged a bunch of classics, his love for classic gangster movies was actually part of the reason he decided to start working for the mob in the first place.
Not long after turning twenty one his parents practically kicked him out, paying for the first couple of months rent on an apartment but after that Eddy was on his own.

Wanted Connections
Exes/Hookups/Flings: He's a hopeless romantic with an inability to stay tied down to one person for too long. He's constantly flirting with anybody and everybody and has every dating/hookup app known to mankind.
Mom Friend: He's a big dumbass who maybe needs a little guidance, and for someone to tell him to stop doing stupid shit, not that he always listens.
Best Friend: A ride or die, someone who has maybe stood by him through all his painfully bad decisions, and someone he can always call on.
Enemy: He's not everyone's cup of tea, so he's bound to have a few people out there who aren't too fond of him, and he doesn't like to be disliked, so it's probably a mutual feeling.
Clients: In between staring at his own reflection in the gym mirror and flirting with the other gym goers, Eddy is actually pretty good at getting people into shape, so he's probably got a few dedicated PT clients under his belt.
