I’ll always find the things that make a role complicated! I was in Budapest shooting Birdsong and Tom Hooper was making a commercial over there. We went for lunch one day and Birdsong was such a rigorous shoot, incredibly intense hours, jumping between time frames, the First World War, and I said to Tom, ‘This one’s the hardest. This really is.’ And Tom turned to me and said, ‘But aren’t they always the hardest?’

Matching street style: Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe were in glamorous Prada for the Met Gala Monday and displayed their own, in-sync casual chic out & about in Manhattan Tuesday.

Eddie Redmayne landed at Katy Perry’s after party at NYC’s Boom Boom Room, hanging out with Hannah, theater school chum James Corden, fellow old Etonian Dominic West, and tennis legend Roger Federer.
