This one kind of got busted by s3 but like, Steve LOVES TV and movies and also weirdly, enough, magazines. He’s not a big book fan and not particularly a huge music fan either but he FLIES through TV shows in modern AUs and he knows a BUNCH of useless TV show facts about Night Rider and MASH and Family Ties and stuff. 

Neither of them can dance. Steve can rhythmically bop and Billy just kind of wiggles. They cannot actively dance well. 

I really love nurse Steve and radio host Billy makes me smile these days. And it works well even though that means they both work long, odd hours. Also I love the idea of Billy telling him that and Steve says “with a face like that you wanna do radio?” and then billy blushes BILLY IS HIGH KEY ALLERGIC TO BEE STINGS like dramatic ass anaphylactic shock kind of allergic 

Billy has a personal vendetta against Nancy. I know it’s mean and bad, but he just does. She well and thoroughly fucked Steve over and he takes personal offense. He’s also like that with Steve’s dad/ anyone that makes Steve feel bad period. 

I don’t see it too often, but I wanna read or write a fic where it’s a minor thing that Tommy and Steve eventually make up. 

Billy getting messy drunk is my bread and butter. Every long fic I write includes a messy drunk Billy, it’s my favorite thing and I need more of it lmao.

S3 also blew this out of the water, but it was also special circumstances. The idea of El not liking Billy initially. She really values her friends and he put them in danger so she doesn’t immediately take to him. But she grows to like him and it doesn’t take much.

Billy is bad at lying. Cherry-picking the truth is easy but actually lying-lying. Not happening. 

I LOVE Italian!Harrington family. I think his mom is Italian. His grandpa still lives over there in Assisi and he has a big, big family on that side. His dad’s side is really small. It’s just him and his grandparents. 

Billy’s pendant isn’t related to anything or anyone. He found it/bought it and thought it was cool. 

Big dick Steve is a blessing and only the truth amen.

Jonathan and Steve getting along is also v gud. Like, Jonathan’s kind of weird, but he’s nice at heart and Steve’s nicer too so sometimes they can shoot the shit. 

This one is probably “controversial” and it’s something I keep to myself usually, but Neil and Susan actually getting along. Like, Neil is a disgusting, awful dick and Susan has definitely given up some of her morals (a lot of them). But they can go out, they can sit down and watch a movie, and things would be fine.

SMART BILLY SMART BILLY SMART BILLY. HE READS A TON OF BOOKS. HE TINKERS WITH CASSETTE PLAYERS AND BOOMBOXES AND WALKMANS ALL THE TIME. Billy really likes all things music, including its production. 

Max and Steve having some kind of unspoken thing where if she needs him, he’ll always be there??? 

Billy and Max acting like siblings/Max secretly (and not-so-secretly) valuing Billy’s opinions on things.

I mightily appreciate pierced nips Billy as well as tattoo Billy because that’s 100% on brand for him 

I generally think Billy would only have 1 or 2 pets, but I love billy with rats, snakes, and dogs the most. Also he had a fish named Norman when he was a kid. 

Steve’s non-existent parents. I don’t know what level of dickish behavior they’re at, but I always see his mom as kind of callous towards him despite Joe’s Christmas sweater HC from s1. They have a weird relationship wherein she’ll get him stuff and talk to him when she’s home, but it’s mostly her talking. Like, she doesn’t really ask about him at all. His dad is in and out just as much as his mom and he’s your stereotypical, Howard Stark kind of dad. 

Anything where Steve and Billy are both fucked up at the same time, but it presents itself in different ways as they heal is a blessing. Share the angst. 

Billy having a lot of weird little obsessions about Steve. Like, he’s obsessed with the way Steve smells. He’s obsessed with his hands and his eyes and he gets high off of Steve’s nervous little habits. 

Steve: What did you say?!

Mike loves to listen to Stan talk about birds. Stan talks so enthusiastically about them and Mike loves how passionate he is. Stan leaves his bird book at Mike’s house one day and Mike tries his best to study it. The next time they’re out he points to a bird, “Is that a Mysterious Starling?” “The Mysterious Starling has been extinct for over a hundred years, Mike.” Mike winces, “Oops.” Stan only laughs, squeezes his hand and kisses his cheek. He thinks it’s sweet Mike tried to learning about birds for him.  

Stan is shy and the tiniest thing makes him blush. When Mike holds his hand, kisses him, holds him, says sweet things to him, and even when Mike puts an arm around him when they walk through town, Stan blushes madly. Mike thinks it’s cute.

Mike shows Stan how to help out on the farm; collect eggs, milk cows, ride a horse. Stan thinks it’s fun, but he thinks it better to watch Mike work.

Mike has a passion for photography and he’s constantly taking pictures of the Losers. He has so many of them and so many of Stan. One evening Mike convinced Stan to climb up on the silo to watch the sunset. Stan was a nervous wreck the whole way up. “If one of us were to fall at this height, we would die, Mike!” But when they reached the top he was breathless by the view. Mike takes a wonderful picture of Stan looking out, the sunlight casting orange-red across his face, his dark curls shining in the evening sun. He keeps the picture on his nightstand. It’s the last thing he sees at night and the first thing he sees in the morning.

Mike’s parents adore Stan, but they hide their relationship from Stan’s parents since they don’t approve of “that kind of behavior”.

Mike plays football in high school and Stan never misses a game. Richie encouraged him to make signs, which he does and he and Richie hold them up and cheer Mike on.

On game days Mike gives Stan his football jersey to wear. Stan is honored by this, wanting to support his boyfriend all that he can. And besides, it smells like Mike.  

i got this ages ago and got stuck with it but ive been thinking abt reddie as parents a lot recently so im just gonna do headcanons for them and not all the losers if thats alright? okokok

sO they adopt a lil baby girl and they both burst into tears the moment they see her

shes handed to eddie first. and he’s shaking, tears dripping from his chin as he looks down at this little bundle held in his arms. the wide brown eyes that blink up at him. and he worries for a moment that he might drop her

but then a pair of steady arms wrap him up a warm embrace, the baby between them, and richie is burying his face into eddies hair

“we’re dads, eds,” he whispers in disbelief. voice thick with tears. “we’re parents.” and eddies lets out a little shaky laugh and richie presses a kiss into eddies hair before he rests their foreheads together, looking down at the baby, their baby. their daughter. 

and theyre a little family, standing there, holding each other. a real family.

eddie becomes ‘dadda’ and richie ‘pappa’

when the kids get older (they adopt a little boy when their daughter turns 2) they become ‘da’ and ‘pa’. or, if the kids are feeling chaotic, they’ll call out ‘dad!’ and both richie and eddie will answer. or if richie and eddie are feeling chaotic, they’ll race each other to the kid’s room and whoever gets there first gets to help them

eddie desperately doesnt want his kids to have the same controlled childhood that he did and in not wanting to be strict like his mom he becomes…Way Too Chill

richie: comes home to find their 5 yr old daughter drawing a family portrait on the wall while eddie watches

richie: um…babe?? youre just gonna let her do that???

eddie: yeah?? what are you…the FUN police??

daughter: cackles and draws a cross in red crayon over her little drawing of richie

eddie: ur doing amazing sweetie

“Where is heeeeeeeee,” Richie whined, using Mike’s broad shoulders to jump up, looking for the last of their friends.

“He didn’t even want to come, Bev is probably dragging him here.” Stan said, shaking his head. “Can you blame him?” He asked, looking around the party. “It’s not like we belong.”

“Yes. It’s our last high school Halloween party. He should be here!” Richie replied, frowning. He knew that Eddie didn’t want to come but all of them had agreed. Greta was throwing a party and had invited the whole class. The losers were in that class so they decided to go.

(Well, Richie, Bill and Bev decided to go, the others were cajoled into it.)
