I havenāt stopped thinking about Voxās future since the season finale dropped, so here are some random ideas about how Vox might start getting along with Al and the Hotel staff:
After a few days of āno-body punishmentā, Val and Vel finally give Vox his body back⦠but only if he drops his Alastor fixation.
Meanwhile, Valentino is having issues with the Hotel crew over Angel Dust.
Charlie, Husk and Vaggi sneak into VoxTek to rescue Angel and walk in on Vox and Vel casually hijacking human TV. Everyone freezes for a solid five seconds before mutually deciding to ignore each otherās existence.
Valentino then storms in, screaming that the Hotel stole Angel and that heās done with their crap. Vox and Vel tell him to sit down and watch the show with them. Val grumbles but sits. Vox suggests maybe the three of them should just forget the Hazbin Hotel crew entirely, and they all agree.
A few days later, Charlie comes asking for help because Alastorās gone missing. Vox immediately shuts her down and kicks her out.
Alastor later materializes in Voxās office, stepping out of the shadows and nearly giving Vox a heart attack, asking for a favor: access to some security cameras. In exchange, he offers to help Vox with his approval ratings. Vox refuses and tells him to leave, but Alastor keeps insisting and raising the stakes, offering more and more. Vox, half worried, half wanting to mess with him, and fully aware that deals with Alastor never end well, agrees to help⦠for free. Alastor is very confused, but obviously accepts.
While Vox helps him check the cameras, he asks if Al talked to Charlie, since she came looking for him. Al doesnāt answer. Vox instantly knows he didnāt, and that something is seriously wrong.
Alastor leaves and Vox stays genuinely worried.
Predictably, things go bad for Alastor and he ends up getting captured by someone nasty.
Charlie finds him by following ācluesā she assumes Alastor left. When she explains it, Alastor instantly realizes it mustāve been Vox, since Vox was the last one to see him before he disappeared.
Alastor sends Vox a vinyl from a singer of his era as an "anonymous" thank-you gift.
Stuff happens in Hell and all the overlords are summoned to a meeting by Lilith or Eve or whoeverās running the conquest-of-Heaven plan this time.
Vox and Alastor see each other again, but barely interact since theyāre in public. The Vees are closer and goofier than ever, and Alastor gets a little jealous of their dynamic.
Vox goes to the meeting, fearing heās about to get kicked out of the overlord council for what he did. Instead, Lilith praises him, says he was this close to taking power and almost killed half the people in the room, which she finds very impressive. In reality, sheās just trying to spin things her way because she needs the overlords for her whole āinvade Heavenā plan.
Once she leaves, several overlords immediately say this whole Heaven invasion idea is terrible. The Vees pretend to be too terrified to disagree with Lilith. The overlords split between Team Lilith and Team Absolutely Not (the Hotel crew sides with the latter).
The Vees spend the whole season āworkingā for Lilith, but deep down theyāre only doing it so they can betray her in the finale.
In the final battle, Vox turns on Lilith and sacrifices himself to save everyone in an epic, electrifying, very-Vox kind of way (mirroring the end of season 2, but reversed)
He doesnāt die, though, because Vel and Val fix him. When Vox wakes up, he pretends he doesnāt remember anything and asks Val and Vel who they are. They panic and say theyāre his friends. Vox then turns to Alastor and asks āare you my friend too?ā Alastor, heartbroken, says yes. Vox immediately bursts into maniacal laughter, revealing he was faking it the whole time and mocking Al for admitting it.
At the very end, Vox goes up to Alastor and asks what he plans to do now. Al says he kind of misses radio. Vox says heās always wanted to start a podcast and might ask Vel or Val. Al instantly gets the hint and smiles (more), telling him that if theyāre not interested, heād be willing to do a podcast with him.
The END :D
