"not really,â minho confirmed and lifted his shoulders in an ambivalent shrug, âiâm pretty harmless.â that was probably exactly something a serial killer would say though, which didnât really help his case, but it was the best convincing this person was going to get. his buddies told him about half an hour earlier that they were going out for dinner and that he had to bring someone, which probably meant that this was going to be a mixer.
they never indicated whether they needed more guys or gals though, because when he asked for more information they just shushed him and said it was going to be great. this also probably meant that it was going to be terrible, but guaranteed a fair amount of amusement for the night, and this photographer fellow was right here, so. âjust this little barbecue joint that has terrific galbi if you cook it right.â
he jerked his head and began walking in that direction. âcome on, my treat.â a pause. âor not, iâm not sure which gives less murdery vibes, not that iâm trying to fool you. i just need a plus one for this mixer.â
itâs an exaggeration to say that yoongi had trust issues-- but he was weary, considering the man before him wasnât just a stranger, but rather a voice he recognized to have shouted before the androids impeded on him. but he didnât pry, didnât pester him about the details, only listening to his stomach growl at the promise of barbecued meat. namjoon's been pestering him all the time about making more friends who could stand him anyway--
"you sure know how to convince a guy," he remarked, soft-spoken. "but if you want me around, then so be it." friends! yoongi was actually being social with someone who wasn't namjoon-- that brat better be proud of him when he got home. "i got pepper spray in my bag, don't worry." there were some strange people he had to encounter whenever he had to take the train.
"do you typically do this often? pick up a random stranger to go drinking with you?" not like he particularly minded. free meat + free alcohol = content yoongi. "or am i the first one?" he donned a small teasing smile, finally letting go of his camera and letting it hang from his neck.
