From the EcoPhotography Archives: A couple paddles on Pawtuckaway Lake in Pawtuckaway State Park. Part of my 2009 NH State Parks photo shoot. I shot this with a brand new lens - I snapped its predecessor the night before and had to make an emergency purchase at Hunt's Photo.
Canon 1Ds MarkIII, Canon 15-35mm F2.8 lens, F8, 1/200 sec.

From the EcoPhotography Archives: A snowboarder in Tuckerman Ravine in New Hampshire's White Mountains. White Mountain National Forest. "Tucks" is the classic backcountry skiing location in New England. Shot in April, 2006.
Canon 1DsMarkII, Canon 16-35mm F2.8 lens.
From he EcoPhotography Archives: Telemark skiing (with dog) "The Seven" in the Great Gully on the headwall of King Ravine in New Hampshire's White Mountains. King Ravine is a glacial cirque on the north side of Mount Adams. Four legs are better than two without skis. That dog was way more comfortable on this steep slope than I was!
From the EcoPhotography Archives: Two kids enjoy maple sundaes at Folsom's Sugar House in Chester, New Hampshire. Steam from boiling sap rises from the sugar house. I shot this in 2009, but the sap is probably running again now.

From the EcoPhotography Archives: A climber ascends "Top of the Prow" on Cathedral Ledge in the White Mountains, North Conway, New Hampshire. I'm not much of a climber, but I did hang from a rope for this shot, which was part of a shoo for NH State Parks in 2009.

From the EcoPhotography Archives: Hiking the Long Trail in Eden, Vermont. I shot this as part of a Trust for Public Land Project that resulted in the protection of 5000 acres in the Green Mountains along the Long Trail. I panned with the hiker at a slow shutter speed to create this effect.
