Ten facts about your muse:
⍠ She exists in a state of constant pain that requires heavy narcotics to alleviate most days, which tend to make her sick. The crankier she is, the less likely that it is sheâs taken the medications simply because she hates looking weak as the sick makes her.
⍠ Her tail is deadweight, and reason for the lesser known nickname of âDeadtailâ that she has in some of the extremely dark corners of the world. To compensate for her inability to balance well, she has augmented her combat style to use her axe in itâs place - sheâs never weaponless, the weapon is merely glamoured when on her back.
⍠ She has a rather large dire wolf companion who roams with her in the Shroud, and allows her to ride astride his back. Heâs quite in tune to her pain and muscle spasms, and has essentially become something of a service animal to her. She considers him family, and he considers her pack.
⍠Exceedingly racist, but has a rather special hate of Seekers. As of late, Xaela have made their way to that list as well, though a couple who also work with her at the shipping company have avoided this and gained her respect, instead. Additionally, there are a few Seekers that she not only tolerates, but considers family.
⍠Her faded eye is due to an illness that she and her sister, as well as several other clan members, suffered in her youth. While her sister recovered quicker, Flidais and the others nearly lost their lives. Those who were as sick as they were discovered to be sterile, or near enough so. This forced the Matriarch of the clan to open up to other clans for a time, easing on tradition to gain new blood, but also became a source of shame for Flidais.
âŤÂ The damage to her body has made it difficult for her to learn crafts, but she does have a fondness for fishing. Putting bait on a hook is very difficult for her, and because of the struggle, she prefers to fish alone where there is no one to laugh at her or look upon her with pity.
⍠ Enjoys music and performances, and will often attend just to tuck herself into the background and listen. Those who play music tend to catch her attention most and listening to it will soothe her. Her sister gave her a music box that plays an old lullaby for travel.
⍠Has absolutely no issue at all breaking a law or committing murder. She is not a particularly good person, but has her reasons. Once her loyalty is earned, she will not turn on the person who won it - leading partially to her stand-off nature.
⍠Really does like pretty things, just doesnât think she is deserving to wear them. She threw away all of her jewelry and pretty clothes after the close of her last relationship, battling with her disgust that he cheated and her sorrow that she had failed so much that he had. Unknown to her, the items were found by her niece, who has tucked them away in case there comes a day where they are needed.
âŤIs the only member of her clan who fights with an axe; all others are knives, bows, or healers.
